We have nothing to worry about. They get utterly annihilated by the Ing. Their deaths call Samus in a few days later, however.

I suggest we do what we came here to do before we leave, however.

The reason I had us come to Aether; we're going to bond with the Ing. The Ing have proven to be able to join with Metroids, and make them even more powerful; in Metroid Prime II, Dark Metroids were immune to the cold, their one weakness. I wonder what bonding with an Ing as a hopping metroid would do. We'd be creating a whole new species.

So, let's make the drive, but then try to locate a Dark Aether portal.
