Yes, in fact, I do. The Phazon Mines hold all of the pirates Elite Trooper and Omega Pirate experiments within them. In these experiments, a pirate trooper is held in an artificial leviathan core and barraged with beta-rays and phazon exposure. This causes it to mutate into a far more powerful organism.

The only way for us to naturally become a metroid prime would be through evolution in a leviathan core. However, there is a chance we could sway our pirate allies into allowing us to evolve in one of their artificial tanks.

The only thing worrying me right now is how the evolution will differ; it's clear that metroids evolve differently based on their environment. Maybe being mutated in an oversized test tube may hold different results than being mutated in a leviathan core, even if the procedure was identical for both mutations.

Perhaps our Pirate Buddy can ask around for us on ways to get to the mine? Surely having the bestest of hats help. Also can we try giving him some energy?
