How is the Queen more badass than a Prime/Core? We get to summon other Metroids as a Prime, we can shift out of certain visual spectrums, AND develop immunity to any convention weapon that lacks Phazon. Basically, you either grab a Phazon source and fire it at us or for you it's almost over now.
The queen is completely immune to damage, breathes fire, can produce hundreds of Metroid eggs quickly, and looks amazing. The only thing the prime has going for it is the ability to possibly become a Dark Samus.
That depends on which Metroid you pull from. Sometimes she's invincible, other times she's just uber powerful. Besides, if even the former, you can still weaken her and morph ball your way inside of her, which is how you kill her in the former example. Whereas with Prime, we're only vulnerable to Phazon and that's the end of the story. No missiles, no morph ball, no weak point. They either bring Phazon to the fight or go home.
