Bwuhhh, I've been feeling bluuuhh lately ;~;
PFP!
Question for everybody: How many mafia do you think there are?
3. Usually by going for the 'amount of people in total divided by 4, rounded up' idea. :O
Why do you ask this kind of question beforehand?
griffinpup: Why are you evil?
OSG: Do you think there are third parties?
BHK: How much of an impact do you think editing will have on the game?
Jack AT: What do you think of the hammer system?
TheDarkStar: Hi!
TMS: How much do you think we should pay attention to flavor in this game?
@_@
In a game where we can edit our posts during the day--it'll be pretty...obvious, to see who edits. I'm assuming there's a power that 'forces' the player to edit their posts. (ie "You must edit 'this' post, or probably without an indicator? :v)
Query for you TDS: That's a really soft RVS. Any more ideas you can add?
Also
everyone: what will you do with your capability of editing?
I shall personally NOT edit, and if soever there are edits--it will either be the changing of the post icon {as THAT hilariously marks an 'edit' timestamp, even if no text is changed}, or just adding a space or whatever. No transparent text is used, if that idea comes to mind.Rules:
Votes must be red and bolded
The game runs on a modified hammer system. Days last until one person has at least 50% of the other people voting for them and then 6 hours after that, a hammer can be canceled during this time.
You can edit your posts as many times as you want, but only during the day and only of that day's posts
No quoting role pms
There is an unknown amount of mafia and/or third parties in this game
Keep the discussions civil and if you need to ask me anything bold and purple it please
I will always tell you the truth but I might not answer your question
Mephansteras can't play as he knows the set-up, sorry man
And no PMing other players
And you must be in or have played one other Mafia game.
Fillipk: Is there a scumchat?
NOBODY has noted that there is a lacking implication of 'normal vanilla rules'; I'm assuming as such because of the hammer system being implemented--something unseen lately and commonly on B12.Has anyone thought of these ideas before making their posts. :v
Tiruin: I have drawn a set of three Zener cards from a standard deck. Which cards are they? What value is there to this seemingly pointless question?
Value in seeing my response and/or seeing my thinking pattern maybe.
In all honesty, I always love answering questions even if they seem irrelevant as a player--even when I'm bloody tired and may be suffering from fatigue instead of just something a tad bit below my 'healthy' health line
...Now I've no idea what those are so thanks for the link. :I
...Ogods. Karl Zener. The
fun guy. I:
Uh, my guess would be:
a hollow circle (one curve)
a Greek cross (two lines)
three vertical wavy lines (or "waves")
And then Jack A T was asking me stuff because that's probably his action in drawing cards like a tarot dealer, because Miiiind reading. :^
Seriously. Why isn't there anomalistic psychology here, Fillipk. :I
Did anybody catch what this post used to say?
If you're using the 'tiny edit timeslip', there's a period in time, usually before 2 minutes or something, that one can edit their posts without the timestamp appearing--and that can mean adding anything from copy pasted WHOLE PARAGRAPHS OF TEXT to making tiny formatting errors into better writing. Basically the amount of text doesn't matter, as long as your internet and your body dexterity allows you to press the 'modify & save' buttons in that time, it's ok.
If you just posted that for hilarity...well have this information then. :v
Any use for that kind of question?
Tiruin:
Since days don't have any set length in this game, what would your ideal length of discussion before a lynch be?
...Where everyone is bloody active. :I
Seriously, that matters a lot more than how many days come by because at least that has a constant stream of information and communication--burnout usually occurs during weeks of time, however that depends proportionately by the amount of information being presented. Given the mechanics of setups, there are usually balances even in bastard mods regarding roles and abilities which affect this amount of information; my ideal length of a discussion would at least be 2 days worth of talking in general, unless in late game wherein there's a ton of information already plotted down. Basically just not hammering everyone because they looked at you funny or such. The usual 2 days+.
To all the stuff about archiving: How's about printscreen screenshots. That works as archiving, or Quoting and putting it in a notepad or something for perusal.
