I am Killheart. My last name is unimportant.

For years I have lived in the goblin fortress, enduring its oppressiveness. For years I have put up with vandalism in my store, muggings in the alleys, and broken windows in my home. No more.

I am leaving the Leafy Sinful Nightmare, and migrating to a new destination. There I will set up a fortress, and it shall put all to shame. I have decreed it, and so it shall be.

Me and six trusted goblins shall set out soon.

So, I need a few suggestions from you guys.

First, I need names. Names and professions.

Name:
Profession:
Possessions:

I used adjuststart.exe, so points are not a problem.


Next, we need a place to settle. You can vote on this even if you don't want a gobbo.

Should we:
Settle in the mountains (like a filthy dwarf!)
Settle in the plains (like a filthy human!)
Settle in the forest (like a... I think this is obvious)
Settle somewhere else (like the desert, or a glacier)

We'll need...
(in case of mountains)

cave river? Y/N
magma? Y/N
(in case of plains/forest)
river? Y/N
aquifier? N/N
magma? Y/N

I'll make a list of suitable locations, depending on what you choose.

Possessions: Err, what can you take along? How does it vary?

As for map, I vote a desert with magma and a triple aquifer. We'll build a giant glass tower made of the crudest, sludge-colored green glass we can.

I like the idea of the green glass tower. I'll put all the beds at the top and see if gobbos can be fried to death.

If I hadn't said mountain I would've said desert - Scorpios' suggestion sounds perfectly fine by me

Also:

As you can see, we don't have dogs. We have beak dogs. But no dogs.

We're taking plenty of dwarven slaves, of course, for our carnivore gobbos. Other than that it's your choice.

We can take lots of meat, but no plants.

We have plenty of weapons to choose from.

We have different class names, but I will understand if you say, for example, 'speardwarf' instead of 'goblin dragoon'.

We have your choice of stone and metal. We can also use bows and arrows if you like that.

How many points apiece?
And also, no magma? How will we make all that glass?

EDIT: Since we, presumably, don't get invasions (No one had yet gotten them in the goblin fort discussion thread), should we maybe pick a dangerous map? Terrifying or sinister would be best.

Oh, I forgot. Glass furnaces need fuel. Fuck. I'll try to find another... but... 'The Awe-Inspiring Dangerous Desert'! How could we not pick that?!

Also, you can have as many points apiece as you want as long as it's not overboard (you can't have 100 steel bars. No.)

Scorching = Instant death in a Green Glass tower.

I would gen seeds, but I'm working with modified files so it'll gen differently.
And I was was thinking the aquifer could provide water (So you could look for that or a river).
Do you know if we get sieges with goblins? I think not, which is why I suggested Terifying/Sinister. An undead site would be even better.

I checked the Wiki and, surprisingly enough, desert death traps aren't to be seen.
