Description: John Brown is a Caucasian human man with grey hair that rises like flame out of a campfire, a chin like an anvil and eyes that always seem to wear an expression somewhere between fury and solemness. In battle, he wears the armor of a Captain Space Marine, looted in one of his many raids and now painted and decorated with the emblems of John Brown's forces, namely teal colors and the symbol of a hand clutching a rifle, a broken chain clung to its wrist. Beneath it he wears a black woolen suit and a white shirt, not unlike the standard preacher's ware of his home.

Personality: John Brown is a perpetually serious man. If he takes time for leisure or pleasure it is not something publicly seen, as he always appears to be absorbed in his one goal in life, the complete ending of slavery wherever it may exist. A lofty goal, but one he believes in firmly nonetheless. He is extremely pious, in fact it is in his interpretation of the Holy Bible that has led him to be committed to the goal of total abolition, and the belief that slavery is the ultimate sin. As opposed to most of the abolition of his day, Brown also believes that slavery can not be solved through peaceful negotiations, but by lead and iron.

Backstory: John Brown was born in the middle of the United States of America, in the year of our Lord, 7840. As a young man, John Brown ventured into the tannery business as his family had done for several generations. When that failed due to the economic turmoil of of 7867, he turned to religion and the politics of the day, where the main point of controversy was slavery. Based on his readings of the Bible, John Brown decided that "America's Original Sin" had to be eliminated, along with those who practiced and promoted it, and the only way to do so was violent insurrection. Brown gathered up sympathetic anti-slavery forces who went about raiding slave owners and pro-slavery towns and settlements out West, killing thousands in the process. His campaign ended when a failed raid on the armory of Harper's Ferry, where Brown intended to arm the local slaves with military weapons, led to his capture. He was declared to be executed, but the Multiverse had other plans for him...

Other:
Brown is skilled at using the weaponry of his period, from the slug-volver to the plasma rifle, but he prefers the broadsword over anything, his signature and mastered weapon. He's also one hell of an orator, if deliverance and freedom of the opressed is your thing.
Fan the Hammer - Brown fires all of the remaining ammunition in his firearm in under a second. Requires a gun with a hammer. Highly inaccurate but effecitve at close range.
By the Glory - Brown's Broadsword glistens with a white glow that does Holy damage, an acidic-like property.
Kingdom of Heaven - Brown does not fold under torture or coercion.

Name: Sammy Sloth
Age: 27
Gender/Sex: M/M

Description: Sammy wears a purple/pink two-piece suit and black dress shoes. Underneath that is a cuffed blue shirt, along with a golden pocket watch in his left pocket. His hair is black and always slicked in 50's greaser fashion. His eyes are grey. His figure is tall and gaunt.

Personality: Sammy loves to laze about and abhors healthy, active lifestyles. His standard delivery is pompous, arrogant and dramatic. He is rude, self-centered and easily gets upset when things do not go his way. He's easily frightened when surprised and prone to flee. His attitude towards non-sentient animals is quite compassionate, showing a more caring side to his character. Ironically, his jihad against all things active makes him a driven person.
 
Backstory: Sammy Sloth previously lived in his life in Slothville, founded and named by his great-grandparents. Slothville was renown for attracting the laziest, most work-averse people in the nation who came together to do absolutely nothing. Sammy enjoyed this traditional way of life, as his main hobbies included feasting on junk food, watching television endlessly and sleeping. That all changed when the Athletes immigrated to Slothville, a collection of energetic and enthusiastic health junkies hellbent on convincing the Slothites that they should live a life of physical activity and healthy eating. Infuriated, Sammy turned to his wiles of treacherous disguise and advanced gadgetry in an attempt to stop the Athletes, but each and every time he failed and more and more denizens fell to the clutches of an active lifestyle. Eventually, Sammy gave up and hit the road, in search of a paradise lost where everyone could be lazy to their hearts content.

Other:
Master of Disguise - Sammy can quickly assume the appearance of anyone from an old lady to a treasure-hunting pirate and act out these roles with the utmost sincerity.
Gadget Galore - Complementing his disguises, the other part of Sammy's collection of tricks and schemes resides in his arsenal of funky gadgetry. Some of his more notable devices include:
   Candy Faker Maker 3000 - Causes candy to take on the appearance of any other food item, especially nutritious foods.
   Memory Zapper 3000 - A ray gun that wipes the specific memories of its target.
   Lazifier 3000 - Another ray gun that causes its target to become sluggish and lazy.
   Screamo-Ball 3000 - A levitating orb that is difficult to catch and constantly emits high pitched shrieking sounds.
   Banana Bomb 3000 - A timed explosive that bursts into a storm of banana peels, leading to much slipping and sliding.
Ironically Driven - Sammy's perseverance in combating healthy living involves a lot of physical and mental effort, unintentionally making him highly athletic and willful.

Name: M381-S21-T001. Most people just call her Myra.
Age: Unknown.
Gender/Sex: Female/Not Applicable

Description: A humanoid, white chrome plated robot, with a blue monitor for a face, that flickers to different emotional states. She has 4 separate pieces (including the monitor), which fly around her central monitor using small, self contained nuclear engines. Her hands and torso are not connected to each other, nor are they connected to the monitor, but are linked via a wireless connection when in a close enough radius. Her torso is little more than an oval of chrome and metal, with a jet that provides movement at the bottom. Her monitor is similar to that of an old desktop computer, except with a jet booster at the base, and a permanently blue screen, with white facial expressions. Her hands are rounded, as well as her fingers, and don't have very good grip.

Personality: Myra is naive, curious, and doesn't really comprehend danger. She wants to learn about everything, and doesn't know violence or hate. She literally does not comprehend the ideas of such things, and her programming prevents her from learning about such things. As such, she takes endless risks in the sake of curiosity, mostly because she doesn't notice the risk. She feels sadness, and other human emotions, just nothing to do with anger, or violence. She also doesn't understand social norms, which doesn't help her situation at all.

Backstory: Myra was built by a group of scientists, attempting to test the boundaries of A.I. She isn't fully sapient, but she has achieved some semblance of sentience. They spent years refining her, teaching her, and sometimes completely rebuilding her. She doesn't consciously remember these past lives, but she has... nightmares, sometimes. They wanted to use her to usher in a new age of peace between humans, yet sadly, as these things normally do, it did not work out. While some were excited about her existence, others were disgusted that nature had been disregarded so easily. After years of political turmoil, Myra was sent out, exiled from society. That being said, she was never really involved in society, no more than being brought to conventions to be shown off. She is now really, just searching for home, whatever that means.

Other: Myra is a robot, and doesn't need to eat or drink, but has to recharge, granting her regular sleeping patterns. She can also fly a certain height off the ground, but going too high diminishes her power too quickly. She can also send her hands to reach things that would normally be inaccessible, as long as they stay in the wireless range.

Name: 受難, or Kurushimi.
Age: Many centuries. They can't remember.
Gender/Sex: The former means nothing and the latter is irrelevant.

Description: Kurushimi is nearly twelve feet tall in their base form. Their armor is very dark and rather sinister. Small decorations are strung from their back with dark cloth. A blue ribbon protrudes from their helmet. When angered or especially emotional, the seams of their armor and their visor glow purple. On their hip sits the sheath for their katana (誘惑, or Yūwaku) that easily measures two meters long. Yūwaku itself has a purple handle adorned with the same ribbon on Kurushimi's helmet and black blade that seems to glow with a strange power.
None know what Kurushimi looks like without their armor on.

Personality: Kurushimi is exceptionally silent, communicating through gestures - or the blade. They seem not to feel happiness, fear, or despair as others do - but anger is very real to them.
Backstory: Kurushimi hails from a land where few outsiders know its existence. This land is home to a race of giants; much like men, as you or I, but near twice as tall and much more powerful. Though thankfully they are not a band of conquerors, the giants make their living by the sword. Competitions, war... all of it done with blade in hand. To them, fighting with another weapon, or even with such things as magic is taboo and results in exile.
Kurishimi has lived a very long life and traveled very far. They live with the wind and without care, squashing an army here or killing a monster there. Nothing matters to them about their work except the gold they recieve from the tiny people they have been a part of for so many years. Kurushimi remembers next to nothing about their existence before this, except their banishment, and its cause - Yūwaku.

Other: The decorations upon their back are able to move at their command, like short extra limbs. Kurushimi is a master of the art of iaijutsu and it is their preferred fighting style.
They can unsheath their sword, attack, and sheath it without an untrained eye recognizing they have moved. They can dash forward many yards so quickly they might have teleported, create waves of sinister energy with a slash, create a dark portal to anywhere they wish so long as they have seen their destination once before and even alter the size of their body at will, among other such abilities.

Kurushimi never uses Yūwaku with both hands unless they are enraged. This was the last sight of many lives they have extinguished.

His grin widens as he slows down and begins to circle around Lidia's tree, slowly decelerating to a casual pacing.
"Well, the good news for you is, Clover seems to be pretty chill. Just go ask her on a date or something, I'm sure it'll be fine, unlike poor Lidia here who'd probably fluster Ray to hell and back if she tried. Well, not that they're already well on their way to becoming an -adorable- couple. Anyway, I know you're self-conscious and haven't had much social experience, but it really is best if you just ask. Otherwise you'll just be stuck here thinking about it. No matter how good anyone's advice is, it won't work miracles, you won't get some cliched montage where you suddenly become a better partner, and unless you want to create some kind of new kind of reality-television style comedy, getting others to tell you what to do at each step will fail in the end. So what if you've got problems? Everyone does. That's love - finding someone who doesn't mind jamming their thorns into the wounds in your heart and accepting yours in turn."

"Oh God. Yeah, you fucked up. Okay, advice time. Firstly, don't just suddenly tell someone you love them. Why? Because you don't know that. You might think you do, but trust me, you don't. Love is a word that's depreciated in value, that we overuse far too much."
His voice becomes a mocking caricature, gaining a squeaky, whiny quality to it.
"I love pancakes. I love music. I love what they did in that new Game of Thrones episode."
He sighs again, more pronounced before slipping back to his usual contralto.
"No, no you do not. You've known her for five days. Possibly less. That is not love. Love is when you've been together with someone so long you can list off all their damn problems off by heart. Love is when the hormones settle down and you have to face the fact that they aren't perfect. It's when you've had your arguments, your struggles, your drama and overcame it together but know there's still more to come. When you're with them not because you like it, but because you have to rely on them, to trust them, and you're willing to accept that, however begrudgingly, because they are the -only- one you can put so much in the hands of. When they are no longer your whole world, but you'll still entrust them with it.

You do not love Clover. Clover does not love you.

And that's okay. You two have just met, there's still so much to go through. In the end you might find love, you might not. It's best to be honest about your feelings, but you can't just rush in like that without thinking. I know you wouldn't have said something without that little boost, but it's -crucial- you understand. Go apologize, explain you weren't thinking straight and that while you'd very much like to be with her, that you know it's too early to say. Then just go on as with before, after all, she'll know your feelings now at the very least, even if it was really awkward at first. The rest should come naturally, to her, at least. Just have patience, this isn't something you'd want to rush."
