Hmm.. actually, there might be an idea so crazy it might just work...

Perhaps we can have our windows washing ships squirts the cleaning solution forward into a wall of water, then scatter as the we near the enemy fighters, effectively letting them crash into the invisible wall of solid water travelling at incredible speed that should help block some bullets and have the same effect as having them fly into an undetectable wall [Water don't carry heat signature in space, right?]

That should help us enough and give us enough time for some civvies to join in the fight.

The fighters outnumbered you about 10 to 1, but you had a plan to even the numbers. You call out to some nearby civilians, "Protect the USSS Lexington. Make sure none of the boarding ships land." You then speak to your janitors, "make a wall of cleaning solution, at high speeds, they act just like bullets." Everybody squirts liquid in front of them, creating a barrier. The liquid slowly merges and starts to form a sphere, but it did it's job. Bullets from the enemy strike the liquid, shattering in the high surface tension, and causing a small eruption on the surface of the cleaning solution, which quickly regenerates. The enemy fighters did not see the wall until it was too late, some of them tried to evade, but all of them crashed into it, ripping their ships to shreds, and creating a debris cloud that ships further back ran into. The civilian ships you called arrived and began harrassing the remaining boarding ships. Now it was the enemy that was outnumbered, fighters became disabled after a private transport rammed into them, boarding ships blew up after running into empty cargo crates, it seemed that the small scale battle was won. But on the larger scale, things did not look good. The Borislav had destroyed all orbital defense platforms, and the Lexington was the only thing standing in its way. Fortunately, several of the smaller turrets had been disassembled by your mechanic friends in their repair ships. However, the massive cannons were taking their toll on the Lexington, and whole sections of the ship were starting to fall off. It would not last much longer. Other than the surface turrets, the Borislav was largely intact. It seemed that nothing left could stop it...

Nothing but us, that is.

They have a giant-ass gun, right? with a giant-ass cannon with a giant-ass barrel.

Fly into that Barrel after they shoot a round, with enough speed maybe we can come out the inside before they can load another round and wreck havoc on their firing mechanism. With enough luck we might even be able to set it to explode or even take over the controls and have it shoot itself!

at the very least we'd be taking the big gun out of the fight and give the Lexington a better fighting chance.

Thinking of nothing else, you fly your ship towards one of the massive cannons, wait for it to fire it's shell, then fly into the barrel. You see some mechanisms in the back loading another shell, you eject from your ship and leap for the mechanism. A massive shell gets fitted in the barrel, and the door that loaded it starts to close. Your ship crashes into the bullet, but you squeeze through the loading door right before it seals itself. The shell was not yet primed, so your ship did not set it off. But the gun did eject the entire casing, detecting your ship and thinking it was jammed. Another bullet got loaded. You follow where it came from and find the ammo hold, an entire room filled with high explosives. You would need to trick a shell into thinking it was primed, then set off a small explosive. Unfortunately, all you have is your Gauss pistol and your Janitorial equipment.

Our gauss pistol can work as the 'pin' to set it to fire, and I think we can use the toilet cleaning solution to superheat it's primer and tricking it into thinking the shell's armed?

If we can set it off and fire, it'd be shooting itself from the inside, which I believe will be very painful.

Hopefully our luck holds and we don't die from this.

Wait.

We have Duct-Tape.

Let's Duct-Tape the shells together in a line, that'd fuck the mechanism up real good. Not many things beat the dreaded Duct-Tape, after all!

You take your new roll of duct tape and tape as many of the shells as you can together. You completely use up your roll, then make your escape through a maintenance hatch. You have to wait for the turret to line up with the exit (the turret was only meant to be maintained out of battle, when it was in the rest position.) Then you jump through, closing the hatch behind you. You pull yourself through the maintenance tunnels as fast as you can until the hallway shakes violently and flames come down the tunnel. Thankfully, they turn back and head into the vacuum of space, as does all the air in the tunnel. You hold on for dear life against the torrent of air, then continue onwards. You find a door leading into an empty hallway, but a call on your comms interrupts you. "This is Admiral Johnson. I'm sorry, but the Lexington cannot continue. I have ordered the ship to be abandoned, but I will remain on board. Is there any last act I should do?"

"Yes, get onto the nearest life pod and jet off, to earth preferably." Tell him that we're on their ship and like, totally got this, man. Maybe he can set the ship on a collision course with the Russians.

We single-handedly capture a Space Station, after all. What's the difference will this ship make? plus we need to punch a Russian Admiral in the face.

Ram the bastards. Create an entrance for boarding.

Pretty sure Admiral Johnson is a chick.

Yes, her. :D

but really, we totally got this. We'd tell her to hold onto her Ovaries and watch this but that might offend the lady, and we like, really like the position as Head Janitors, too.

Maybe we can find a map and walk for the bridge with a mop.

Hey, if it's not broken then don't fix it, right?

You tell her, "Can you still ram them? Create an entrance for boarding? I'm already on board, but I will need all the help I can get." She responds. "Yes, but I have to manually make the commands. It has been a pleasure working with you, head janitor. Win this battle and kill those motherfuckers. Admiral Johnson, signing off." You feel slightly saddened by the loss, but you can't gripe. You have a mission to complete. You exit the maintainance tunnel and find yourself in a common room for some sleeping quarters. Everybody was gone, presumably fighting elsewhere. In the common room was a map of the Borislav. You take a detailed look and see 5 main reactors, scattered throughout the ship, presumably with some redundancy, so multiple would have to be destroyed. The bridge was right in the center of the ship, armories were scattered all over the ship. Your access codes from the station still worked for the doors on the Borislav, but a soldier almost certainly wouldn't have access to the secure areas of the ship. Regardless, there were sure to be tens of thousands of crew members, and while you could pass as one, you didn't know any Russian, so any words you spoke would be a dead giveaway.

Right, we'll hit this fast and hard, then. Proceed towards one of the many armories, make ourself another Duct-Tape nuke if we still have any left so we can blow the bridge's door open. We're not going to waste time blowing 5 power plants up.

+1 to attacking the bridge, but lets try to find a way to do it without destroying the doors, so we can keep the rest of the crew out.
