I vomited a lot, then unleashed a hasted cheetah.

EDIT: oh, and also commandeered a zombie elephant.

Now that is something even all the depraved minds of Boatmurdered couldn't do.

I am impressed.

I accidentally overran the expected stopping time by an hour and fifty minutes. Woops.... I'll try hard not to do that next time.

Quick summary:

Got told to kindly escort a caravan.
Met a ZOMBIE AMbUSH with an elephant, seven zombies and a zombie with class levels.
Max used Command Undead on the elephant before throwing up for 4 rounds in a row, while Amini used an Oracle soul storm thing to murder most of the lackies.
The zombie warrior insulted everyone a bunch then ran away, but a hasted flying Ricchar caught up and SMOTE EVIL!
The zombie warrior was looted for a +1 cloak de la resistance, +1 bastard sword, and a banded mail.
Then, they find that Ara Sung's gates were open, and there was nobody inside.
They found a somewhat suspicious sorcerer girl running from vampires.
Ricchar interrogated her and was highly suspicious that she was passing all his Sense Motive checks but Discern Lies said she might have lied twice.
She sends a message to Max, casts an invis spell, narrowly dodges being poked by Amini and tanglefooted by Matty, then Dimension Doors away to somewhere else in the city.

The end.

XP will follow shortly.

If you do up your character right and proper, scriver, you could still be a grizzled barkeep who survived the vampiric purge of Ara Sung and gained like 7 class levels in the process!

By the way, I just noticed this, but doesn't anyone else find it suspicious that she very easily invised and dimension doored away while we were trying to stop her, yet she says that she was running from the vampires because they kept getting attacks of opportunity whenever she tried to cast a spell? Pretty sure she has combat casting

You get 880 xp each for the "Totally Random Encounter," and I'd like to award this to those who weren't able to attend, too, because parity.

Subduing, interrogating and killing two vampire spawn, saving a hapless female NPC in the process - 480 xp

Terrorizing poor citizen - 440xp.

Harry B: Who got which item you took off the zombie warrior?

edit: Actually, I'll raise the Terrorizing Poor Citizen xp to 440, on second thought.

Well maybe if NPCs obeyed wealth by level guidelines then she wouldn't be so poor, have you thought about that?

Harry B: Who got which item you took off the zombie warrior?

Ricchar got the sword and cloak, the banded mail would probably go to anyone who wouldn't turn up their noses at the mere notion of wearing a substandard piece of armor like banded mail. Or if nobody wants it, probably dumped somewhere instead.

There I was thinking I wouldn't miss much by leaving half an hour early.

Regarding the sword, I have no plan to keep it.  I used it to chop the vampire spawn heads, but I am not even proficient with it.  Anyone who wants can have it. Or we sell it and share.

If memory serves, you only need exotic profiency for the bastard sword if you plan to one hand it, so you could use it until we get to a point where we can split loot up.

I'm interested in selling the banded mail to get the few gp it would warrent. Potion costs can add up. It's cheaper to buy some potions or items rather than make them because of needing to hire out spells.

On the topic of item creation, if anyone has any wish lists magic item wise that fall under potions or wondrous items, Matty is willing to make them at cost (47.5% of market price, plus whatever spell costs there are) in exchange for spell services to cut down on her own item creation expenses or for a favor or two in the future if spells aren't your thing. Please feel free to PM them to me or leave a list here so I can get you quotes on expenses and wait time. If you happen to have the spells necessary to make the item or know that someone in the party does, feel free to let me know so I can leave that off the quote or otherwise know whom the spell casting money should go to.

@XP: I'm in favor of everyone gaining the same XP from group encounters regardless of if they made it to the session or not (barring concurrent or separate solo adventures) as with 7 players, sometimes people aren't going to be able to make it. If it wasn't for my experience with sleep deprivation, I probably wouldn't have considered (mostly) finishing up my sheet let alone playing.

@First Combat: Guess who completely forgot that they had Precise Bombs and held off bombing several targets because of that? Me. Sleep before you play kids, sleep before you play.

Yeah, I prefer giving everyone the same XP. It's not fun at all if you're a level behind, plus the fun part is playing the combat, not watching your stats go up.

I don't know if I'd ever do solo or split adventures, because it's so hard to handle that on Roll20. You can't even put different people on different pages...

And my tiny secret about that one game I ran was that they had trinkets that had a passive, beneficial effect if they stick together a ton more, than if they ventured apart or did solo/split adventuring. :P

Maybe make it a plot-thing, since most of your world as far as I can read about it is undead, that sticking together is a better thing than going alone (unless you're scouting or something). Somehow this reminds me of space-themed adventures; you can't split with the party that much because your environmental suit needs constant maintenance, and if you go alone you have a higher chance of messing up and spending more time in a hostile/unknown environment tending to yourself than if you were with others.

That was the basis of my arguement for Bae to not run away, but that never actually left Matty's mouth somehow. Lots of words happening at once and all.
