Tick 18.5: Pastry Festival

Katzerie has surrendered to the automatons and been released with no fanfare. Katzerie has visited the Kattero Great Bathhouse to wash. The Katteros scramble to do as they do with the threat of a looming Great Washing. All the water turns into blood on Katzerie's entry.

Katzerie has washed the mini-seer, taking note of how clean she is now. The Dagomoths seem to be relatively clean, especially compared to the cats. The morning dew takes care of most of their problems.

LIGHT has created 4000 Lightrays. (LIGHT: -8E) The Shimmerhands have taken to living on the Lightrays, feeding them with illusion magic. They quickly begin spreading throughout the high layers of the Mountain.

The following god is in danger of being marked as inactive on T19: Captain Praven.

[Katzerie, the Token God]

Katzerie cleans up the blood with her power, and also makes sure the water of the Great Bathhouse never gets dirty. Using 1 Essence.
If it lacks a draining system, make one, if it's just from the amount of blood she's covered with, clean it.
If it's something else, investigate.
"You Dagomoths are very clean, you shall be spared of the great washing."
Katz pets the Mini-seer on her head.

Mani listens to prayers!

"Hummm....Kitty cats want to get clean, but hate baths? Mani toooo theeee reeeeescuuuuuueeee!"

Mani designs the Kat Kleaner 5000™! Often called the K-vac for short. The K-vac is a shiny metal pod just large enough for a Kat to lay down in comfortably. Once inside, the K-vac uses wind magic to clean the creature as well as any bathhouse, guaranteed or your money back! The K-vac doesn't use water like similar products, using the revolutionary wind-based design to remove dirt and grime in a fraction of the time! Cleanup is a Breeze™, with the dirt and grime finding itself in a pan in the bottom of the design that can be simply removed and dumped anywhere you want. Act now, and get a second cleaning pan absolutely free*! Mani hands this design to the Kats, without spending essence.

*Offer valid until tick 20, valid one per household. Offer not valid in some areas.

The sound of distant screaming is heard.

The Bubble strains loudly, as though someone tried to travel back in time in the future and failed.

"It sounded like someone tried to travel back in time in the future and didn't quite make it!"

Look around for all the various gods, see if anyone is missing.

"Sounds like a painful position to be in. Knowing that you have to do something you're going to fail completely at later or else unpleasant things may happen to you, temporally.

Somehow I find myself laughing at the fool what did it!

[Katzerie, the Token God]

"Oh, Prr~aven. You're back. I... I'll admit, I kinda wish you hadn't. Would serve my point perfectly."
Katz looks at Landria. Then back at Praven.
"Anyway, what are you planning?"

"Newsflash Newsflash!!! God of luck murders poor brainfaithers..."
"I wonder how the Fhortan will respond to this... Especially to the fact that their luck god has not even put great misfortune on the gandtraelites, no he actually just struck them."
Send messages of apology to the Fhortan, as Gandtrael feels bad that their god is so cruel.
"Sorry guys..."

Tick 19.0: The gods mourn for their lost prophits [sic]

Katzerie has cleaned up the Great Bathhouse. (Katzerie: -1E) It isn't terribly surprising that a lot of blood would end up in the Bathhouse, but how much blood can one god possibly get soaked in while punching twisted plants and animals?

Katzerie has spared the Dagomoths from a Great Cleaning.

Frami has created more Nautils in the Great Ocean.

Frami listens to prayers:
Arani evolver: "AhaHAhahaha! With this new ritual, I can make wings grow out of anything! Even this rat!"
Nautil merchant: "How should we make ships to travel up the river up the Mountain? It's quite shallow and not always windy, after all."
Arani ranger: "How can I best prevent forest fires?"

Mani listens to prayers:
Art3 student: "Where should I go to learn more about the mana pillar?"
Magnet smith: "Look at this new rial hammer I attached to my chassis!"
Anansi mage: "Is it true that magic and machines are opposed?"

Mani has designed and built the wonderful wind powered Kat Kleaner 5000™, selling it to Katzerie's Kats. It is quickly bought up and used as an alternative to soapy water.

Captain Praven wanders the world in a drunken stupor.

Godly screaming in the distance is audible. Multiple gods have attempted to travel back in time and failed, it seems. Wstfgl repairs the Bubble in the wake of this disturbance as much as possible. (Wstfgl: -10E)

Fortuna looks around, counting the gods.
Landria is present, still blocking attempts at sitting down by fellow gods.
Katzerie is missing, probably still washing or maybe Washing.
Mumuski is placidly watching the development of music.
Captain Praven is nowhere to be found, probably on a bar crawl.
Wstfgl is away, busy being the moon and repairing the Bubble.
Sadiq is away, maybe missing his godly friends dearly during a feast with mortal friends.
Mani is missing, likely distributing Kat Kleaners and tendint to mortals.
Xislo is watching the leyline network and Winds of Magic with rapt attention.
Zenrach is present and "insane" as usual.
LIGHT is away, mostly being the sun and shining on people's parades.
Gandtrael is still meditating and chatting up the rest of the gods.
Death is nowhere to be found, probably escorting dying mortals lovingly.
Frami is absent, most likely tending to the mortals.
   Two nameless gods are dead.

A leyline has flared up, making the surrounding landscape very musical. The plants, the animals, and even the very winds have begun producing interesting sounds.

Gandtrael has accused Fortuna of smiting some Gandtraelites, sending messages of apology to the Fhortan for being born with such a cruel god. Those in the know probably agree that Fortuna has recently been sighted quarreling with Gandtrael.
