A burst of large-scale necromantic activity has spilled out along a leyline, creating various twisted forms of local flora and fauna along said leyline.
Katz looks upon this with disgust.
"No, this... this shall not pass."
Katzerie creates a pair of gloves. They cannot be stained by blood, instead it just flows off, never sticking.
Katz creates the Basic Artifact, the Clean Gloves.
Katzerie descends onto the lands, and starts punching the twisted life to death.
Katz uses 1-2 Essence to block the leyline, to prevent further contamination.

"Don't all Lielines do that? Mani thinks it is just the large scale that is the issue. Punching everything 'infected' to death and shutting off the line is super-overkill!"

Would you kindly not touch my Leylines? Those are meant for experienced wizards only.

So you would try to eliminate necromancy that is no worse than any other magic, but allow Dagomoths eldritch influence that interferes with our divine power?

Even if that Leyline is in the middle of nowhere?

All leylines leak magic that transforms life, which is why they are for experienced mages only. You are trying to prevent something that happens all the time virtually everywhere due to it being particular flavor. Leave necromancers to their work, would you?

"You never even proclaimed your creations were off limits or your sphere. If you asume that position though and continously strive to go against my effort I will consider to disallow gambling in my halls and proclaim to learn more about probability studies in Brainkeep. I am sorry I have disturbed you so much, but you seem unreasonable to argue with."

"In what way is it unreasonable for me to expect a little bit of a warning that someone intends to dabble in my Sphere? I would have though such a thing was implied. Why should we even have to claim our Spheres are important to us, anyway? We derive our power and income from them. I doubt any of us could do better in a particular Sphere than the deity of that particular Sphere, and our efforts would likely reflect very poorly on them without a great deal of effort. Effort that clearly wasn't present on your part when creating those... things.

Had you asked my thoughts regarding your dabbles within my Sphere, I wouldn't have been confrontational about it, but you didn't. You impinged on my Sphere, and then demanded 5E to remove the taint, before actually using 3E to do so, like a common trickster. I expected better from my fellow deities; perhaps I set the bar too high.

[Katzerie, the Token God]

"The Dagomoths, don't twist... life."
When the contamination is sufficiently reduced (stops twisting life). Remove the blocking.
If killing the twisted life itself is not enough, start punching necromancers to death.
"Undeath is... an abomination. You may name... examples, of okay undead. But undeath itself, is an abomination."

Why do you hate necromancy so? It does not twist life any more than any other kind of magic. Which is to say, at all.

Dirt that laid there for centuries begins walking as magic courses through it. Plants begin growing ultraviolet fruits. Metals begin burning with cold so intense as to freeze matter into molecular dust. Just because the matter moved before, then stopped, then began moving again does not make it evil.
