?E (however much this may cost, I don't really understand the agent cost system) : Make the Bored Arani an agent, granting him healing magic and improving his natural ability to sing a mesmerizing song, amplifying the effects and range of it.

Frami examines the surface of the world more closely, looking for deserts, icy regions or any unusual biomes.

Frami listens to prayers once more

Tick 8.5: Poing poing!

Landria has rescued some of the kidnapped Anansi. Sadiq has sent the rest off along with the brainfaith hippies to be with Gandtrael.

Some of the Scorim have begun illegally experimenting with mind-exploding herbs in Jannah. Others continue improving the train, whose tracks are luckily mostly aligned with a leyline. They have sent emissaries to Anansi lands to request shipments  of Saland so as to begin Salamium track production for its magical receptiveness.

The Terminae mostly stay underground, not liking the harsh sunLIGHT. They continue developing necromancy and have found a way to have animated corpses retain some of their former liveliness; a pursuit that will likely see retaliation from Death or Frami if continued. Landria has taught the Terminae calculus, much to their students' dismay.

A number of Jannah-based scientists and engineers have vanished.

A substantial number of mag-ferrets have escaped containment from Sadiq's blasting/burning/breeding pit. A few have been spotted in Jannah. Landria has helped the Scorim keep the problem under control

The Anansi and Shimmerhands continue to develop magic of their own sorts, having been isolated from most other races. There is a significant focus on the use of metals in their magic.

Gandtrael has made over half a unit more of Fritzies from the mag-ferrets around Grattaca. Pest control schools have been constructed, but they lack the industrial touch of Sadiq's mad plan.

Captain Praven has sung the Pravanese Navy into being, whither those ships and crew who served Praven in life sail again in death. (Captain Praven: -5E)

Frami has blessed the bored Arani with improved song and healing abilities, and the pirate-hunting Arani has gathered a crew of like-minded Arani and surface Nautils and begun securing important trade routes to/from Arani lands. (Frami: -5E)

((Unchanged Arani: Advanced agent: Low 3-4E; Improved Arani: Elite agent: High 5-6E))

Frami notices plenty of deserts, icy lands, and some strange biomes.

Frami listens to prayers:
Hyrran chef: "Behold, perfectly lava-baked caveduck!"
Nautil swimmer: "What happens higher up the Mountain?"
   Arani borer: "More big trees!"

The following god is in danger of being marked as inactive on T9: Ovorr

Spoiler: Deities(16) (click to show/hide)

Sphere suggestions this Tick are Festivals and Rain.

The Fhortan gambler adds ways to actively gamble one's life, ignoring the slight underlying problem that entering the gambling house without an escort of Fhortan is likely to lead to it collapsing.

Bless the entrance so that people actually are able to passively survive the gambling house. Make sure anyone actively gambling with their life are aware of the risks.

Fhortan astrologer: "We all have our talents"

"What would you say your talent is, hm?"

Visit the Fhortan, see if they need anything.

Wander the lands some more, performing various feats of luck catered to the cultures of the various visited races.

Admonish the Scorim to stop using those mind-drug thingies. They're icky. Though if some of them literally cause your mind to explode they might be useful if adapted to chemical gas weapons
Investigate the engineer/scientist disappearances. Attempt to return them also if possible.
Encourage Scorim to build a second leyline (set of?) train(s?) to the Anansi lands, to set up a trading route for the precious Saland.
Encourage Scorim to continue exterminating/enslaving Mag-Ferrets.

Encourage Terminae to continue developing necromancy on their own, with a focus on necromantic group rituals
Teach Terminae how to make movable type printing presses

Encourage Anansi and Shimmerhand to continue to develop technologically and magically on their own
Encourage Anansi to begin trading with the Scorim
Free the last few imprisoned Anansi from Gandtrael's clutches.

Expand the Leylines with 6E.

Check what things are happening because of extra magic that is leaking from the Leylines.

Check on how the four schools are doing and what they are doing, the blue/white branch included.

The point of keeping the golems on fire isn't for the value of fire as a weapon. It's more to keep the golems functioning at a reasonable speed.
It was never a promise. It was a dirty lie, and you all knew that. You should all know by now that you can't trust a word I say.

Fortuna, so as to display the astonishing power of Luck, has blessed the entrance to the horrible gambling hall such that non-Fhortans entering may still actively gamble with their lives without having the building collapse on its own.

Fortuna continues to respond to a prayer:
Fhortan astrologer: "Feeding my family, of course!"

The Fhortan seem not to need anything too much at the moment. They have developed excellent skills with probability despite altering it passively.

Fortuna has wandered the lands, performing lucky miracles relevant to the local peoples.

Landria has shut down the Scorims' mind-drug research excepting the possibility of brewing up nerve gas.
The engineers and scientists were last seen at the PRC, and a trail of small, round footprints leads into a nearby clearing.
The Scorim complain that the main reason for why they wanted to get Saland from the Anansi lands was to build improved track so as to draw mana more easily. They have begun laying track regardless. It is a very slow process.
The Scorim continue exterminating/enslaving Mag-Ferrets.

The Terminae continue developing necromancy nonetheless, focusing on group rituals. They have found ways to temporarily bring the dead into the land of the living, but not for much more than talking or as distractions.
The Terminae have learnt about movable type printing presses.

The Anansi and Shimmerhand continue their technological development.

The Anansi at their lowest have begun the long trek to the base of the mountain to open up negotiations with the Scorim. The Scoriim have begun the even longer trek up the mountain to open up negotiations with the Anansi.
Landria attempts to free the Anansi from Gandtrael's clutches.

Xislo expands the Leylines with 6E, finally providing full Leyline coverage to the Mountain and using the extra 2E to create a large jet of mana from the highest point of the Mountain, untamable and of great potential.

The extra magic from the Leylines has resulted in the development of assorted odd wildlife and plants, especially around the chaotic nodes. Some in the wetlands have created large, carnivorous plants from which softly glowing greenish bulbs hang. Some in the submerged portions have generated immense sea monsters, ignorant of the LIGHT of day. Others, high in the mountains, have created beasts of rock and ice, whose roars are avalanches and whose steps freeze the earth. Strange, living vortices, floating dust devils and embedded sand eddies, dot magical deserts, swallowing up or otherwise subjecting intruders to an endless barrage of earth. Deep in the magma chambers, creatures of magma walk around, gradually freezing into still stone statues marking their passing.

And in places where mag-ferrets roam, they have begun combining and growing.

Landria gives the Scorim some Salamium to help them get started maybe?
Disguise myself as a kleine zwerg and lead the mag ferrets out of grattaca with the most beautifully played Magnet harp music.
If this actually works, Landria leads them further to drown in the ocean, like some sort of Mag-Lemmings

Frami answers prayers :

Hyrran chef: "Behold, perfectly lava-baked caveduck!"
"I see you are putting the forces of nature to good use ! Most excellent ! You shall be blessed !"
Bless the hyrran chef with longer lifetime

Nautil swimmer: "What happens higher up the Mountain?"
"That's for you to discover, if you truly desire to know ! I'll give you what you need."
Bless the Nautil swimmer with better strength, endurance and cold resistance.

Arani borer: "More big trees!"
"But of course !"
Create some unusually large trees of various species near and inside of Arboria.

Check on the agent's progress

Examine these "strange biomes" you found while looking at the surface more closely

"Oooh ! Exciting ! A new form of life, which wasn't directly created by a god ! I must investigate !" Task a group of tree-guards from Arboria to capture one of the carnivorous plants. Advise the nautils to stay away from the sea monsters, as they seem too dangerous. Ask the Hyrrans to attempt contacting one of the magma creatures to see if it's hostile.

Oppose the rescue attempt.
"Do you really want to go down this road friend Sadiq? Damaging friendships over such a trifling matter will only lead to grief"

Sadiq looked at the throne god in a sideways gaze. "Friend Landria, are you really angered at the punishment of a criminal? I gave him leniency at first, yes? He continued after he thought another god would protect him so I gave him Eternity to mull his actions and extended his punishment to his companions, just as he aggravated my citizens. Do you truly think being a servant is truly the worse of punishments? Would you prefer I create his own personal plane of hell, where his soul is continuously devoured? Or how about I slowly kill his friends in front of him, truly that would be a more appropriate punishment for the displeasure he has caused this city, yes? If so, that seems more than a bit cruel for the crime, yes?"

"Can Sadiq believe his own eyes? He does! Wild djinn! I must catch them for science, yes?"

Find those scientists researching mind-drugs and offer to give them their own commune far from Jannah City. They are to be allowed to continue their research so as to learn more knowledge, hopefully helping Jannah in the future. They are not to use sapient patients unless they happen to be legally obtained slaves.
Once again encourage technological development amongst my races so that they can progress to the Mechanized Age.
Check on the progress of the pirate-hunting squadron in their quest to curb the pirates of the sea so as to open the sea lanes to trade.
Compare all sapient and non sapient footprints to  the small round footprints found in the clearing where the PRC staff disappeared.
Hold a science fair and sports competition; invite all races from all nations to compete in both. This is to showcase discoveries and technologies from all races as well as to show the athletic skill of all competitors.
Capture a few of those new magical creatures and figure out their composition; are they matter powered by mana or something else? See what happens if they interact with antimagic; determine if they fall apart or otherwise.
Compare the magic acquired from 'chaotic' nodes to more stable nodes. Are they any different?
Send out hunters equipped with the latests weapons and magicks to locate these mag-ferretzillas and capture them for the glory of Jannah. Also, science.
Make clothes, signature dishes and other assorted goods from all the ferrets. This is to make use of the high supply of ferrets in Jannah.
Bring in all exotic materials (such as Emberglass) to Jannah and hand them over to the relevant reserchers. See if they can make synthetic versions. Give them a large supply of hydrocarbons and mana.

"Hehehe, fools! It was I, Mani who kidnapped the Scientists!" *Dramatic Rustling.

"You see, Sadiq, the Scientists and Engineers Mani kidnapped where your followers, just as the magician is Mani's. Mani wants the Anansi back. Sadiq wants the Scientists back, right? If Sadiq gives the ones he stole back, Mani gives the ones he stole back. Prisoner exchange, yay!"

Sadiq looked at the god for a good few minutes before letting out a big laugh. "That's a good joke my friend, a really good one! I must however say that this individual has caused far too much trouble, with your protection, yes? I will not allow him to continue his littering ways. Without a clear agreement that he shall stop, I sadly cannot let him go..also the PRC is an institute established by friend Landria so you got the wrong researchers friend!"

4E: Transform some of the escaped ferrets into Morridim, sapient rhinos with grasping tentacles attached to their necks. Have Enchanting Affinity. Settle them in Jannah.
