Closeness betweens petals allows easy movement between otherwise far-off locales. The most inner layer would of course not be a petal but the pistil with the ovary inside being most life-giving; the cradle of life in fact."

An' to keep things interestin', we could have lots a Archipelagos and Islands in between the Mountains.
