Tick 24.0: Whence comes the Third?Scorim continue development of jet engines with greater attention to safety. Terminae continue development of evolution magic. Shimmerhands continue training tree magic. The Anansi governor has been given a Crown Blessing and has begun the drudgery of clearing the exploded factories to rebuild them.
Mumuski listens to prayers:
Zwerg runner: "Success! But what should I do?"
Spirit Mages and Harmon-Ra Teachers have begun fundraising for the Brainkeep. They are polite and actually knock on doors.
The average occupation of a mage seems to be either research mage for the more magically minded or services mage for the more financially minded.
Mani responds to prayers:
Anansi governor: "They are unusable!"
Art3 mage: "Will do, thanks!"
The Tournament results are in! Following weeks of intensive (relatively) high-stakes games of many sorts, it is revealed that the top five Luckiest races in the tournament are the Arani, Ishim, Dagomoths (but not after their recent disaster), weird giant porcupines, and Beastmen. The five Unuckiest races are the Terminae, Porcelain Men, Katteros, Shimmerhands, and Anansi.
A sulfurous glow appears in Chance following the Tournament and essentially all Scorim exposed to it die! Some other casualties include Ishim, Sharim, Beastmen, Terminae, Anansi, and Art3.
