Propose that when and if Death goes inactive, he be drained to 1 essence and then sealed, to prevent him from dying. The essence will then be divided up equally among all the not dead gods.
Oppose

Mani convinces a random pink ape that the fate of the mountain rests with him winning the tournament, and sends him off to the games.

Name the Fortuna capital "Chance", because I forgot to do that at the time :))

Fortuna projects their voice so all the mortals can hear.

"Fortuna here, announcing that the very first Fortuna's Hand Open Tournament Qualifiers will begin next Tick! This is a qualifying tournament for the Inaugural Fortuna's Hand Classic, a tournament featuring purely Luck-based games which will be held in the Fhortan capital of Chance on Tick 22! Best of all, there is no entry fee, and all your expenses for getting to and from Chance will be provided for by winning the qualifier! Best of all, this is open to only non-Fhortan races!

There will be one representative from each race at the Fortuna's Hand Classic, better enter to make sure it's you!

Of course, who wants to enter a tournament when they don't know what they might win? I sure wouldn't! The winner of the Inaugural Fortuna's Hand Classic will receive the fulfilment of a 100% Fully Guaranteed No-Strings-Attached One-Time-Only Non-Violent Request from the god of Luck themselves, me!

There is one rule for this tournament: absolutely no cheating allowed. If any of you are found to have cheated - and yes that includes blessings from any other gods - will be ejected from proceedings and not allowed to return until the tournament is over!

Happy Gambling, mortals!
"

Instruct the Fhortan to prepare Fortuna's Folly and the gambling house shrines for the qualifiers next Tick.

Return my voice to normal.

"Do Lucklings still exist then?"

"Yes."

"A gamblin' tournament? Sounds more like a party t' me! 'N now, where's be a party without th' drinks?"

Captain Praven lands the Ebrius Praedonus and the entirety of the Pravanese Navy to dock in Chance's Waters, or above the ground just barely outside of the City limits if it is landlocked. The Captain and his Crew setup a plethora of makeshift stalls, bars, and storehouses and begin to sell bootleg moonshine and possibly stolen secondhand goods at extremely high, and low, prices to Mortals visiting Chance for the Tournament. Once the improvised marketplace is setup, Captain Praven and a large horde of drunken undead Pirates go into the City of Chance, and proceed to gamble and drink away the vast majority of their profits.

Mani convinces a random pink ape that the fate of the mountain rests with him winning the tournament, and sends him off to the games.

"These things are usually fun with high-stakes!"

Sadiq supports this.

1E: Give the pink ape an epic vision where he is chosen by a council of gods in a dark opulent room to face his destiny as the Hero of Ages. A band of invisible Djinn will accompany him in his travels, providing appropriate music and themes. A specially Sadiq-composed theme song is to be played everyday.
1E: Along the way, the plucky hero will go on various small quests to right the world's wrong as well as have wacky adventures that may or may not bring pleasure to Sadiq. He will make new friends and friendly rivalries. 10% Friendship discount.

The point of keeping the golems on fire isn't for the value of fire as a weapon. It's more to keep the golems functioning at a reasonable speed.
It was never a promise. It was a dirty lie, and you all knew that. You should all know by now that you can't trust a word I say.

Tick 21.0: With Blackjack and Hookworms

Landria and Wstfgl share the recent Creativity Award, having voted for themselves! Congratulations! (Landria: +7E, Wstfgl: +7E) The Creativity Award has now been boosted to the lovely sum of 45E, very nearly the mean weekly worship income.

The Mana Cascader seems to be intended to perform all sorts of tricks with the mana released. Unfortunately, these tricks are neither predictable nor guaranteed to be safe. At the moment, a flood of molten chocolate has erupted out of thin air.

The Shimmerhands are not doing terribly much. They have been given plans for ocean-going ships. A bunch of Shimmerhands have begun riding on top of the downward rush train to meet up with Zwerge.

Landria encourages more development among the Landrians.

Landria openly proposes that Death be drained to 1E and have his Essence split among the remaining gods if/when Death goes inactive. One wonders whither Landria is proposing this. In any case, while Death opposes this, Zenrach, Gandtrael, and Xislo support this.

Gandtrael argues that correlation is causation when gods are involved and that the "debate" was intended to harm Gandtrael, following which a bunch of Gandtraelites unluckily died. Fortuna argues that this would be the perfect cover for opportunistic gods to harm Gandtrael's creations and that Fortuna alone could not have possibly killed off that many Gandtraelites.

Fortuna has named the Fhortan capital Chance an announced a grand tournament qualifier, the Fortuna's Hand Open Qualifiers, on T22! The best member of each race will then enter the Inaugural Fortuna's Hand Classic, featuring purely Luck-based games. The Fhortans have prepared Fortuna's Folly accordingly, attaching large quarters to it to accomodate the greatly increased number of guests. Zenrach has provided free transportation for a chaos caller and a chaos slaugherer. Gandtrael has accused Fortuna of rigging the tournament by sending in a Fhortan. Fortuna denies that Fhortans will be allowed to participate. Praven has opened up a massive instant town of booze and wares to take advantage of the gamblers.

Mani, supported by Sadiq, Landria, and Xislo, has convinced a random pink ape that the fate of the entire Mountain rests on him winning the tournament, offering free transportation. Sadiq sends epic visions backing this to the pink ape, fabricating memories about a council of gods and a Hero of Ages. Sadiq has ensured that the Hero of Ages should embark on a suitably epic journey of great wackiness on the way to the tournament instead of instant transportation as seems to have been intended. (Sadiq: -2E)

Fortuna confirms that Lucklings still exist.

Landria has prepared Shimmerhand illusionists who fervently argue against the existence of Luck to disprove the existence of Luck.

Landria has ordered the construction of a school of evolution magic in Terminae lands, perhaps extending a token invitation to the Arani evolver.

The Terminae have learned about optical microscopes and cells. Mass fermentation of starchy crops has begun. The Terminae have sent requests for a massive still, preferably magic-powered, to the Scorim.

Gandtrael has opened up Thought Cinemas for sharing and viewing visions. (Gandtrael: -1E) Visionites for collecting visions have also been created. (Gandtrael: -1E)

Use 4 Essence to create the Crown of Blessing. This intricate clockwork Rial crown that menaces with Lightray bone slowly rotates in place more or less where someone's head would be if they sat on the ever-churning throne that is a god. The crown empowers up to two blessings per tick. Those blessed automatically know that they were blessed by Landria
Bless Anansi Mage and bless Mana Cascader

Vote for myself for the Creativity Award

Encourage Shimmerhands to make edible illusions. Shimmerhand illusionist chefs will be renowned throughout the land!
Show the Shimmerhands how to grow Bronze Boababs and other trees more quickly by teaching them the Tree Magic of the Framians
Have Shimmerhands and Anansi begin co-operating to grow orchards of Bronze Mango Trees and trade their valuable fruit with other races, especially those of lower levels
Help the Shimmerhand Luck Illusionists to hunt and kill some Lu just before sending them to Chance. At least some of them should get stupendously good luck as a result. Of course, luck is an illusion, so those with bad luck should be fine.

Teach the Terminae about the Bessemer Process and landmines
Continue encouraging Terminae to develop Evolution magic

Teach the Anansi how to enchant their lenses further to see through more forms of invisibility

Scorim are to continue refining magical airship designs and are to build trains and airship services everywhere, with a focus on connecting Landrians.

Create Memory Mandrakes and give them to the Necromancer Cabals. To be matured, the mandrake must be steeped in necromantic energies for a decade or so. During the steeping the mandrake will constantly murmur incomprehensibly at the edge of hearing. Once matured, the mandrake can be consumed to unlock the eater's memories and skills from their past lives. Have each cabal begin growing small gardens of Roomingfruit and Memory Mandrakes

Tick 21.5: With Blackjack and Hookworms

Sadiq has attempted to start a catnip trade.

Landria has created the Crown of Blessing, a clockwork crown for a clockwork throne which enhances up to two blessings per Tick. (Landria: -4E) Landria has blessed the Anansi mage and the Mana Cascader with it, increasing the flow of molten chocolate and flooding the place.

The Shimmerhands have made edible illusions, equated by the cynical to mass-produced quickly prepared food. This has earned them some notoriety.

The Shimmerhands and Anansi attempt to grow more Bronze Baobabs but find that their life-extending effect diminishes rapidly with the number grown. They still make fine decorations.

Shimmerhand Luck Illusionists firmly state that there is no such thing as Luck and kill off a bunch of Lu. An earthquake has derailed the downward rush train they started on.

Scorim expand transportation networks, emphasizing Landrians.

Landria has created Memory Mandrakes (Mnemdragoras?) and given them to the necromancer cabals, instructing that they also grow Roomingfruit.

Wstfgl has created more dream-feeders. (Wstfgl: -37E)

Gandtrael has attempted to spread Thought Cinemas, only to have them unexpectedly shut down.
