Wstfgl, in a fit of whimsy, adds 4E of mag-ferrets scattered in random clumps all around the world, to see them fly off into wherever.  Wstfgl adds a trail approximating their (Wstfgl's) own colors to the path of the mag-ferrets they create while they're being redeposited.

That is, he wants them flying towards the Gandtraelites as well as the mag-ferrets their god created.

"Thank you for the ferrets"
order the Training of mag-ferrets in grattaca
"Sadiq my dear friend, if you look at the gandtraelite spice shops in your city, youI ll find everything you need to bring the marvels of telepathy to your people. I can help you to train them if you want. "
"If you need to buy the ingredients at shops, then telepathy is hardly free now is it?"

[Katzerie, the Token God]

Katzerie calls upon her Agents, the Kattav (the freebie used to deal with the Beastmen, before they got lazored) and the Dagomoth, summoning them to her.
"I need your help. You go evacuate anyone in the proximity of the purple brains. While you manage the stream of Mag-ferrets."
Katz sends them down to the mountain.
Katzerie has the Kattav evacuate people from the quarantine zones. And the Dagomoth make sure no Gandtrael Mag-ferret is outside the quarantine zone.

"Or, instead of crawling through wilderness to try and find some dubious herbs, they can just build radio towers.

Telepathy is far more likely to strain friendships, since they make it harder to hide the secret thoughts that would ruin friendships, like the fact that you think the way your friend's face looks is stupid, even though you truly value them as a friend."

"Again you think in short terms only.  Due to the likelyhood of a situation,  like the one you described,  people would quickly overcome superficiality and become closer tied individuals.  People would also choose their friends more wisely. "

[Katzerie, the Token God]

"Why would you read further? You can choose between someone who's perfect, and someone who isn't.
Everyone will know you hurt people, and will be absolutely correct. So you can only get with others who hurt people, creating two castes, the good and the bad.
And then they make castes, creating a hundred levels of goodness, and you are bad if you talk with someone badder than you.
At least with talking, you can just, not tell them certain things. You can start over. With telepathy, everyone sees the same thing.
"

Wstfgl, seeing a need for such, spreads an herb that can make selected memories...Foggy, to telepaths.  Like dreams, almost.

Sufficiently strong telepathy might be able to overcome this, and consent by the viewee to show the fogged memories definitely does.

Tick 6.5: Proliferate!

Fortuna continues to respond to prayers:
Fhortan gambler: "Not really, you don't have to be lucky to survive in a normal gambling house."
Fhortan astrologer: "Visitors and merchants unfamiliar with our luck. We do this to feed our families."

Landria continues encouraging technological independence among the non-Terminae races.

((The Legendary Marksdorf: Due to it being a carryover from 0ld YG, your action to increase specific elemental affinities (+0/+1) succeeded. Their affinities have been changed accordingly.))

Frami has increased the Nautils and the Hyrrans affinity for their elements. Frami has also established the Tree-guards, a voluntary militia intended to stop the felling of trees by non-Arborians, ideally using mesmerizing song.

Katzerie has created Rocs and Mag-Ferrets, mostly to be contained in Gandtrael lands. (Katzerie: -3E) Landria has ineffectively opposed the Mag-Ferrets for free, while Mani, increasingly likely to be working with the magnets, supports them. Gandtrael has created far more Mag-Ferrets, probably noticing this Tick's title and taking it to heart. (Gandtrael: -3E) Katz directs these to fall on the Gandtraelites with Gandtrael's thanks, somehow managing to cause even more to spawn. (Katzerie: -1E) Gandtrael has ordered the training of mag-ferrets in Grattaca, but this is very difficult when the ferrets outnumber the trainers by so much. Sadiq has lost his collection of ferrets. Wstfgl has scattered 4E of mag-ferrets leaving colored trails behind them and watches as they fly up toward Grattaca. (Wstfgl: -4E) Katzerie has called on the Kattav and the Dagomoth heroes to "liberate" people from Gandtrael lands, making sure no Mag-ferret escapes.

Wstfgl has created 4E of dream-feeders. (Wstfgl: -4E)

Wstfgl has requested a census, but this is difficult to safely perform at this time.

An Anansi magician has suffered through a week of harassment and stopped sending junk to Jannah.

Sadiq has set up a merchant navy for Jannah's overseas interests, naturally leading to more tree-felling. They have begun pirate-hunting, increasing the amount of trade flowing into Jannah.

Sadiq has formed the Arcane Academy for applying magic to the common good, inviting Blue/White mages in the process. (Sadiq: -1E)

The arcano-trains are still somewhat easy to sabotage by Scorim. They are becoming increasingly mundane.

Sadiq arranges for broadcast towers all over Jannah for radio use. Some limited Musical magic can travel by radio/phone, but it may be the user's charisma that is responsible.

Sadiq has performed some experiments:
Antimagic-enchanted pipes transport increase mana losses significantly but transport it faster. Notably, the enchantment is unstable in these conditions.
A barrel that has been antimagic'd drains mana. Here, too, the enchantment is unstable.

The Greater Jannah Educational Institute has at least managed to spread literacy and arithmetic to all.

The various research institutes in Jannah suggest that using mana to power airships requires that the airships follow leylines very closely, not straying too far laterally or vertically. This, naturally, makes them ripe targets for raiders should they ever take to the air.

Sadiq has already started a number of radio broadcasts.

Landria gives all of Katzerie's races painful, irritating fleas. There is a slight increase in bathhouse usage and offerings to Katzerie to avoid another Great Washing Day.

Gandtrael has, suspiciously, mocked radio towers in favor of telepathy.

Gandtrael has created more Gandtraelites. (Gandtrael: -2E)

Sadiq has established a menagerie of mag-ferrets, probably mostly gelded, in Jannah. When struck by lightning, they probably huddle together. When putting magnetic pairs together, they probably multiply.

Katz has created Spiral Fern, but all of it explodes!

Wstfgl has made a mind-fogging herb against telepaths.

Landria has taught the Terminae about making blast furnaces and improved the Leyline designs further. Landria listens to prayers:

Frami listens to prayers:

Mani listens to prayers:

The following god is in danger of being marked as inactive: Corpus.

[Katzerie, the Token God]

"I think this is enough to make him stop."
Katz returns her heroes to where she summoned them from.
"Now..."
Katzerie notices Sadiq's navy.

Katz moves to the Kattavs, and makes a basic shipyard.
"I want a boat, a big one, a ship. It shall be pretty and strong."
Katz gives a blessing of health and plenty (1 Essence worth) to the island she's on, as payment for the jobs she's going to make them do.
Katz hires artists, carvers, thinkers, and such on the island, to aid in the construction of this new ship.
"Now, the thing about wood. A stick bends, a log breaks. But a bundle of sticks still bend.
So, you can have strong wood with flexibility, by making it in layers, glued together.
It looks bad though, so use it where you can get away with it, but where you want people to see, use whole wood.
"
Katzerie teaches the Kattavs about plywood, which sacrifices looks for strength. As long as it's not visible, you can use plywood for parts of the ship.
Katz also teaches the Kattavs a thing or two about big ship structure, along with some rudimentary math.
Katzerie will take several ticks to create this ship.

Fhortan gambler: "Not really, you don't have to be lucky to survive in a normal gambling house."

"Indeed. You do have to have interested people to actually use it. People won't use it if they think they might die. If people are going to end their life there, at least make it because they conscioiy tried their lick, rather than were passively killed by being in the wrong place."

Fhortan astrologer: "Visitors and merchants unfamiliar with our luck. We do this to feed our families."

"You have the ability to perform tasks to sustain yourselves. Why do you have difficulty feeding your families?"

Create the Staff of Ordeals for outsiders, a gnarly old piece of wood, with a Luck sphere discount. Give it to the concerned Fhortan who brought up the issue.

Spoiler: Staff of Ordeals (click to show/hide)

"This should suffice. Let me know if it solves the issue."
