Nah, a passive thing. Either it nullifies more advanced magic at more advanced levels, or it has like an area-of-effect that gets larger the more advanced. Perhaps both, via different branches/specialisations.

Edit: well... the first one only works by nullifying the magic used against the wielder/knowledge holder.

Added in as "Antimagic" under the potentially free schools after some deliberation (e.g. noticing that the old YG had a more primitive magic resistance thing as expensive as Cosmic if full and instant)

When I asked KJP about this before he said you can teach several technologies for free if you do it step by step over multiple ticks, so that's your own damn fault and not a valid reasoning.

To expand the context, KJP said you can increase the tech level of a single race for free if you teach them the individual technologies step by step over multiple ticks. It is exactly about individual races which is why I have been teaching a bunch of races single technologies rather than teaching one race a bunch of technologies. If we can do what you're doing I should be able to get the Terminae to industrial revolution for free by tick 10

Well I wasn't on Discord at the time, and from reading what he said about it in the backlog, it looks like it's basically fine for this tick. Like I said, catch-up.

That was most of what I wanted to teach them, anyway. Now it's mostly things like how to polish your mirrors properly so that the skygod still loves you.
