How much would it cost to customize one of the hi-quality desktops to something like a +6 bonus? A +2? A +10?

well, you've arlready got the server farms providing +5. a +2 is useless, and a +10 would cost about as much as the supercomputer.

Then our bonuses should be between 7-9, due to our area of expertise giving us +2, following tutorials providing at least +1, and previously attempts providing at least +1. Our server farm has only been providing us with at most a +3 bonus.

We lost 2,000 instead of gained it? Having the Italian food listed in turn units would be useful as I'd forgotten that a week is about a turn.
