((So, I'm quite, how you say, interested in this game, and, obviously, I want to join. I just want to ask, can we be any character? Could I, say, play as myself, or a character from RWBY or Doctor Who, or an original character I've had an idea about? I know this question may be answered, but it's always nice to ask.))

Original characters are 100% fine—aren't most of these characters original, technically?—though you only have a name and class (and optionally a sprite, I guess) to describe your character with, so super-defined characters and backstories probably aren't happening.

I'm actually not entirely sure how I feel about characters from works of fiction. I'm leaning pretty strongly towards "yes", at the moment, but I'd like to sleep on it. For now, feel free to waitlist.

((Alright, thanks. Here's my character to waitlist with...didn't need to specify that, did I?))

How much influence can I have over the moves I'd like to have? Can I give general ideas? Suggest specific stats?

None, I'm afraid. You're limited to a name, a class, and (optionally) a sprite.

I should really get around to posting the next turn

If I play a character and I like its abilities(or didnt) can I choose to run with the same one or one with a fresh batch of moves next time I play?

I see you have a graveyard so maybe this question mostly pertains to undead creatures or I guess things that don't really die after they... Die.

If you die, you're free to rewaitlist with the same name/class/sprite. If you want a fresh set of abilities, I may or may not be able to provide one, depending on how many ideas I have for the class in question.

Waitlisted as "I hunger for your souls", Vilelax.

Probably what Snorlax looks like after he eats a Vileplume and get sick from the spores which take over his body. Vilelax in a nutshell.

I did make a character... But I see now the spirit of the game and I think Vilelax fits it more so you make the Sprite and I can't wait to see it.

You know a way you could speed up the waitlist, and get people into matches is to have more PVP ones, followed by these Quest style ones I guess.

No. No. Switch that, Vilelax the class! I want to see that other part as my name that you click on >: ) *rubs fly hands*

That actually, though, creates an interesting version of character progression. With additional plays you get more options to return to something you like or add a new being to the pool to choose from. Can you play someone else's character? Maybe with a dark- prefix or some other gimmick. Can you play as a monster? Such as to be a hero wolf with their abilities but more protagonist like stats and extras?

Maybe "Hunger" for short,  but full name where possible.

"I Hunger"

As much as I hate to say it, this game is probably dead. There's a chance I'll revive it, someday, but it isn't particularly likely.

I'm considering making a spiritual sequel, though; it'd be an SG, but the mechanics would be pretty similar. So, two questions:
  • Would you be interested in an SG with mechanics very similar to this game's?
  • Have you noticed any crippling flaws within this game's systems?

1. Yes
2. No crippling flaws, but it would be cool if the hp system was different (more realistic) instead of hp points. SP points are cool with me tho. (BTW I wouldnt mind that much either way :)))
