MDW ‘Valor’ Energy Blade (Sword)
$10,000

MDW ‘Determination’ Laser Pistol
$2,500

Thermal Padding
$6,000 for 1 suit

No rocket launchers or plasma throwers, no sniper rifles. This is a space station, not a open field. I figure the above set-up should work well, unless any of you want to make changes. I'm happy to take lower-priced gear if you guys want something better.

+25 Bullet magazine: ($2,500)

Karlom-Cole M32 Slug Pistol
$1,000
+ 10 mags: ($500)

This should be good. Unless anyone else want's me to buy something else.

I think I'll actually load up on grenades and use them for disruption/support. Plus an EVA suit so I can infiltrate from different airlocks.

Karlom-Cole Standard Chainblade (sword size)
$10,000
Phareon Tech QRC Energy Pistol
$4,000
Vacuum Suit
$5,000 for 1 suit [1 hour]
Energy Grenade
$1600 for 4 grenades
Smoke Grenade
$1400 for 7 grenades
Disruption Grenade
$4,000 for 1 reusable grenade                 +

$26,000

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Funk was poked via PM yesterday and if he doesn't post in this thread by later tomorrow, I likely be removing him from the game.

If that happens there will likely be a minor but not proportional decrease in available funds. Probably something like a $10,000-20,000 decrease.

EDIT: How does "I" even autocorrect to "love"? How?

Why don't messages show up more than just a little number?

Funk - $24,500

Thermal Padding $6,000

Personal Shield $15,000

Laser Pistol $2,500

Midgrade Alloy Blade $1,000

-------
I would bring a heavy weapon but i don't think we need too.

Now what the point in saveing money? lets buy some other kit for the team.

Other Kit (18,000 left)

3 Vacuum Suit 5000 x 3 = 15,000

MedDart Applier $2,000
5 darts $1,000

Okay then.
Once everyone else agrees, the mission will start.

And while I'd prefer the former option, if no one disagrees with the current proposed gear within a day or two, but not everyone posts that they're ready, I'll still continue with the game.

EDIT:
"... proposed gear pic gases within a day ..."
Autocorrect.

EDIT:

This post was originally the "starting" IC post, but after 3 days of no replies I've decided to move it into an IC thread and make this post into an OOC thread.

Posting on this thread to tell any players that are only watching this thread, that I've made an IC thread for the test run.
Here.

Okay so this is a triple post, but that happens.

Just want to apologize for the IC stuff in general. Not going to quit, but the test run may just take a long time to run in general. As I've said before, there's a reason this is a test run. Though if I can't manage to get it working more "smoothly"/whatever word applies here by the end of it, I am probably going to temporarily shelve the actual Mercenary Coalition.

I'm going to poke the two people who haven't already posted in the IC thread after this post. If there's any stuff that you feel I should be doing but I'm not, feel free to let me know.
