((Second time writing this, because my internet gave out and ate my previous attempt. Jolly good))

Turn 40
KyotoHideki watches the attendand run towards the festival street. Saying that he's running is probably a bit generous, though. The man is clearly weighed down by the heavy ceremonial clothing, the little tassels on his hat bobbing up and down, so it's more like he's walking at a brisk pace than running.
Hideki climbs down from the tree, agile as a cat. He runs towards the road, dodging trees and sidestepping bamboo stalks, though he takes a bamboo slap or two to the face in the process. When he bursts from the foliage and into the road, he takes a quick glance to his right towards Tekkan. Tekkan is on the ground, twitching slightly. The second attendand is on his knees next to him, trying to apply pressure to the wound. It seems the attendand has sealed Tekkan's fate, though. In his panic to help his master he took the knife out to be able to put his hands on the wound to apply pressure, but this just managed to remove the one thing holding back the bloodflow. The blood flows freely from Tekkans throat and through the attendands fingers. Tekkan is not long for this world.
Hideki starts off to his left to catch the first attendand. As he's running, and easily catching up to the man, Hideki notices that he's got Muramasa in his hand. Clearly, he must have taken it out of its scabbard at some point, though he can't really recall when. Regardless, Hideki closes in on the attendand, who hears him coming at the last moment. The attendand turns around and begins to say something, but is cut off when Hideki slashes his chest. The man falls to his knees and gives a pained cry of pain. Hideki uses the momentum of his first slash, reverses his grip, and slashes hard. The attendand's head comes clean off of his shoulders, and the rest of his body slumps to the ground.
Satisfied that the attendand's death will mean that nobody will get to Tekkan before he has kicked the bucket, Hideki fades back into the bamboo and makes his escape. He heads for the road leading through the farmlands surrounding the city, as that's a pretty likely place for Ed and Otsu to hide out, since they'll need to take that road eventually.
But before he can get there, he has to somehow get past on of the gates to get out of the city.
Will Hideki try:
1: The main Northern gate.
2: The secondary southern gate.
A: Wait until a group of people makes their way out of the city and try to blend in with them.
B: Attempt to appear as one of the townsfolk and try to get out without arousing suspicion.
C: Simply attempt to walk out as he is hoping that nobody stops him, bluffing or fighting his way out if they do.
D: Attempt to find some way to sneak through the gate unseen.
