LNP auto update help

Using the PyLNP I get the pop up about the newest version with options for direct download or open brower. I choose direct download. then it says the updated pack is being downloaded. once complete the new pack will extract automatically. I click OK. Now what. It just sits there on my desktop. What do I do now? How do I know when its updating?
       ..sorry  I also posted this in another section as well. i think was the wrong section. just trying to figure this out.
