I'm looking into the summoning crashes. I cannot promise to make it fully stable, having more or less the same issues than ESTB, but there is superfluous stuff created when spawning orthi and other minor creatures that can be removed to make it more stable.

Disabling Standardized + Earth Strikes Backs, I'm getting crashes on map gen (large region) and me taking my time choosing where to pick. Just randomly crashes there too.

It happens on large regions, try disabling embark anywhere and the other plugins you see at the bottom.

No, create-unit is still the same script.
From TurambarFR's save, I was able to figure out there are two distinct types of crashes.  The much more common one can be hotfixed by commenting out two lines of tesb-wake.lua, but the correct way is to update Masterwork to use v2.13 of The Earth Strikes Back!.  It has some new features in addition to the bugfixes.

The other source is much more rare and hard to reproduce, and it seems to be in create-unit.lua.  Still working on that one.

The forced attack was the source of the relatively common crashes.

Getting a crash on or after load of a save file.  stderr.log finishes with
Code: [Select]
Invoking: gui/extended-status enable
UNKNOWN CLASS 'dfhack_lua_viewscreen@DFHack': vtable = 0x684aae9c
I have a save with the exact same thing at the end of stderr everytime I try loading, sadly I fiddled with it too much to be able to upload it.

Got a Succubus crash-while-loading type event. At the "loading artifacts..." bit. Figured that one might be interesting.

I can't even load my game, and I played 0 days. Just embarked, saved and tried to load.

Here's one save (hopefully) I can't get to work. I made a Torrent out of it, but I'm not sure if it works. I guess we will find out. :P

Ok, I ask differently: Did any of you try to load the save while dfhack is turned off? Aka, is it dfhack that causes the crash?
