Eh? Last I heard Stills were not on the list for Strange Mood buildings.

Create some giant cave spider silk via Dwarf Companion, just to see what happens. Then revert to a previous backup.

I think occasionally if a dwarf can't find the workshop he's looking for, he'll just claim a random one instead, and once he's finished his artifact it'll be converted to the type that he was actually after. Never had this happen to me personally, but I recall reading it on the wiki somewhere.

Had a dwarf convert a kitchen into a craftshop just the other night; I made a bug report and someone replied it was a feature  :)
