Turn 4: Beatdown and Scare-Crow

INIT:
KingMurdoc(14)
AbstractTraitorHero(37)
_DivideByZero_(8)
Whisperling(35)

Order my stormtroopers to storm the upstairs and start killing  try and destroy anyone's soul who is still up here.

"Kill everybody upstairs!"

AbstractTraitorHero's squad of stormtroopers promptly charge upstairs.

Laser Fire(10) vs. Dodge, _DivideByZero_(6)
Laser Fire(8) vs. Skateboard Dodge, KingMurdoc(9+3=12)

The first laser easily hits. The second is easily dodged.

Laser Burn(7) vs. Damage Resistance(8)

_DivideByZero_ promptly takes the bolt on his portable x-ray machine. And as it turns out, laser bolts don't work on metal.
As seen in Star Wars.

AbstractTraitorHero is annoyed, and attempts soul destruction of the people upstairs... or rather, just one of them. (_DivideByZero_) To be precise, _DivideByZero_.

Soul Magic(3+2=5) vs. Soul Resilience(5)

Her magic, however, is repelled by an equal and opposite force.

Spoiler: ...Here goes? (click to show/hide)

Use tablet precognitive abilities to determine where my enemies will both attack and dodge to. Penguins read too, of course. I grab the wrench and hit ATH on the head with it, penguins support me with whatever attack they do. I assume it involves razor-sharp canes or something.

Penguins also try to protect me from mind control, somehow. Although hopefully the sheer, horrible narcissism of the song is enough to hurt anyone making a mental connection.

Whisperling lets out a narcissistic verse, then charges AbstractTraitorHero, who just sent away all of her bodyguards. Ho boy.

Wrench grabbed.

Precognition Aided Wrench To Da Face(8+3=11) vs. Dodge(7-1=6)
Wrench Impact Damage(10) vs. Damage Resistance(6-1=5)

The wrench impacts AbstractTraitorHero's chest. And it hurts. There go a few ribs. (gained Blunt Force Trauma, -2 to dodge, -1 to physical resistance, -2 to willpower(and from there, magic using willpower, which includes soul manipulation))

And she's punted to the floor, where a quintet of deadly penguins using dueling canes charge.

Precognition Aided Beatdown(2+3=5) vs. Roll Out of the Way(2-1-2=-1)
The Actual Beatdown(8) vs. Oh Shoot(7-1-1=5)
The canes make it even worse on AbstractTraitorHero. (Blunt Force Trauma upgraded to Even More Blunt Force Trauma, -3 to dodge, -2 to physical resistance, -2 to willpower)

Summon scarecrow, steal a blaster!
Oh my. Sorry about that.
Offer KingMurdoc a truce and team up to kill stormtroopers. Try to kill more of them than he does for bragging rights.
Accept the truce!

KingMurdoc and _DivideByZero_ soon team up to end the stormtroopers.

KingMurdoc opens by summoning a scarecrow from nowhere, right in the midst of the stormtroopers.

Stormtrooper Willpower(2) Mass panic is immediate. At least none of them suffered heart attacks. (stormtroopers get -3 to dodge next turn(and this one) and -3 to willpower next turn(and this one), stormtroopers cannot act next turn, afterwards this status becomes "Shaken", which gives them -1 to everything)

It was fairly easy to steal a blaster from there.

_DivideByZero_ Willpower(6)

_DivideByZero_ looks at the scarecrow, and trembles. (Temporarily Shaken, -1 to everything, will expire at the end of Turn 6)

But he fights through it, firing at the stormtroopers. Bam!(1-1=0) vs. Panicked Dodging(7-3=4)

And shoots a Butt-Biter that was creeping up towards them.

Go prone and fire some more. If possible, crawl toward a stormtrooper's body to blend in better with the environment.

Shoot stormtroopers with blaster. Steal their armor if it seems to actually be protecting them.

Turn 5: 100% Fail

INIT:
AbstractTraitorHero(97)
_DivideByZero(7)
Whisperling(64)
KingMurdoc(26)

have TNTs corpse rise up and attack.C all my stormtroopers back have them form around me.A after TNTs corpse has  done it's actiones consume it's soul and heal myself.Have the stormtroopers fire at anyone who comes close.Curl up in a ball and try and keep safe.

It took a while for AbstractTraitorHero to realize that her(his?) stormtroopers were currently... inactive. But thankfully, he(she?) had something else to pull.

Soul Zombie! (5+2-2=5)

tntey's corpse staggered to its feet... took some steps towards Whisperling... and then collapsed. Ho boy.

Eat Soul! (8+2-2=8)

Abstract focused on her second option, pulling tntey's soul to her(his?)self and eating it. Though he/she didn't maximize the power acquired from it, it still gave her a power source to tap for her/his soul magic. Sadly, doing so didn't heal her body.

(+3 to next two soul magic rolls)

Bash ATH over the head with my wrench. Penguins focus on protecting me from the various minions and stuff.

WHACK! (5) vs. OH NO(3-1-3=-1)
Breakage of Things(1) vs. Damage Resistance(6-3=3)

Whisperling poked Abstract with his wrench. Unsurprisingly, it didn't do any damage.

Shoot stormtroopers with blaster. Steal their armor if it seems to actually be protecting them.

POW(1) vs. Panicked Dodging(7-3=4)

KingMurdoc fired a laser bolt... at the ceiling.

Go prone and fire some more. If possible, crawl toward a stormtrooper's body to blend in better with the environment.

_DivideByZero_ dropped to the floor, now prone, and fired a laser bolt. Or a few.

KAPOW(9-1=8) vs. Panicked Dodging(9-3=6)
Damage(5-1=4) vs. Resistance(4)

The bolts struck several of the stormtroopers. Though their armor provided only trivial protection, it seemed that was enough as somehow _DivideByZero_'s shots only hit the toughest spots on it.

This is a pointless turn sink, shooting at those guys.

Go downstairs, shouting "Cover me!" heroically while taking shots at Abstract's glowing soul-empowered self.

Yeah, gonna have to kick the thread once again.
Maybe I should add some sort of in-game reward for prompt action posting?

The Forum Games and Roleplaying forum is pretty competitive compared to the RtD forum, as I've learned in the past few days.

Make sure my minions and I have precognition-aided aiming and dodging up and running, then the penguins join me in slaughtering ATH.

Turn 6: Hurry Up And Finish Abstract Already

INIT:
_DivideByZero_(2 (lolwat))
KingMurdoc(50)
AbstractTraitorHero(54)
Whisperling(25)

Have my stormtroopers come downstairs and tackle my opponent  use my soul powers to fire out a massive arena spanning soul destroying pulse.
"I hate it when they gang up on the great ones."

Mass Tackle(2-1=1) vs. Precognition Aided Dodge(8-1+3=10)

AbstractTraitorHero's stormtroopers charge downstairs...  then Whisperling glares at them.

"Your troopers can't protect you..." I mean, really, really, glares. Like, Death Glare.

And they topple onto each other in a heap. Ho boy.

Soul Bomb(8-2+3+2=11)

In a last-ditch effort, Abstract throws his/her power into a sphere, then detonates it across the arena. Though it's more lacking when it reaches the second floor, it's still somewhat effective. Unfortunately, it's somewhat diluted by being spread out so much... but...

Whisperling's Soul Resistance(9-3(proximity)-2(willpower)=4)
Magic Penguins' Soul Resistance(3-3(proximity)=0)
_DivideByZero_'s Soul Resistance(4-1+1(distance)=4)
KingMurdoc's Soul Resistance(8+1(distance)=9)
Stormtroopers' Soul Resistance(9+1(distance)-1=9)

Whisperling shudders, his soul rent asunder, not yet dead. (major soul damage, -2 to willpower, max cooldown of all abilities with cooldown increased by one, -3 to all actions this turn because soul pain)
Interestingly, _DivideByZero_ feels the exact same way. (major soul damage, -2 to willpower, max cooldown of all abilities with cooldown increased by one, -3 to all actions this turn because soul pain)
KingMurdoc and the Stormtroopers didn't even notice, however. Mostly. (soul ache, -1 to next willpower roll each)
The penguins took it worst of all. Their souls shattered and they died instantly. And their bodies crumbled to ash.

Also shoot ATH.

Bam, Bam!(8) vs. Get out of the way(5-1-3=1)
BURN!(5) vs. Resist da BURN!(7-3=4)

KingMurdoc charged downstairs, firing a laser bolt which struck AbstractTraitorHero right on his/her burns. It didn't do much damage, but it did disrupt his/her focus. (-2 to willpower next turn)

Spoiler: Song (click to show/hide)

Make sure my minions and I have precognition-aided aiming and dodging up and running, then the penguins join me in slaughtering ATH.
Minions? What minions? In any case, Whisperling got to work himself.

Beatdown(9+3(PRECOG)-3(SOULPAIN)=9) vs ROLL!(2-1-3=-2)
CRUSH!(7-3(SOULPAIN)=4) vs. Resist CRUSH!(7-1-2=4)

This impact aggravated Abstract's wound even more, but didn't do much else. Actually, compared to what she already felt, it barely tickled.

This is a pointless turn sink, shooting at those guys.

Go downstairs, shouting "Cover me!" heroically while taking shots at Abstract's glowing soul-empowered self.

Heroic LAZOR(5-2(SOULPAIN)-1=2) vs. Dodge?(2-1-3=-2)

_DivideByZero_ charged downstairs, and fired off a laser pulse, which, though it hit the ceiling, hit a reflective part of it which bounced it onto Abstract.

burN!(6-3(SOULPAIN)-1=2) vs. Resist(4-1-2=1)

The pulse struck AbstractTraitorHero... giving her a minor tinge of pain on her right leg.

(right leg minor pain, -1 to dodge next turn)

Spoiler: _DivideByZero_ (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: KingMurdoc (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Whisperling (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: AbstractTraitorHero (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: tntey's corpse (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: the arena (click to show/hide)
