The moderation log wouldn't actually say. Basically, I was erring on the side of caution because I knew someone had been banned over something related to the kek square.

So, on to other topics now?......

I always thought kek was just this.

Do not doubt the power of the kek square.
I don't remember why LSP got banned, though.

I can see this evolution.

It is a complex modern ideogram.

It synthesizes laughter (at chaos and or misfortune), with willfully being offensive (associated with 4 letter epithets intended to cause offense), and general twisted humor, such as has given rise to "cult of kek".

It makes perfect sense that a group that finds these features favorable and group-defining would create and employ it.

Fascinating feature of emerging internet anthropology.

Alright, now, to give other people, would it be rude to ask for a portfolio of the implications and apparent results of a Trump presidency?

@Max: 4Chan becoming a political party? That'd be crazy, like Alice in Wonderland crazy. It's a truism that once you have a taste of power, you hunger for more.

Then again, the Pirate party (in a couple countries) is also an internet based party, so, not outside the realm of possibility.

I'm not sure what the usual sterotype of those 'anons' are, but from what I know, they'd be even worse at governing than the Tea Party people were.
The scary thing is that more and more of them are actually of age and such to fit the qualifications to hold office, but I would have expected them to try the party thing before, but now?

Well, they're sure they were able to cram an awful candidate down the throat of a major party and get them into the white house, and again, whether it is true or not, they believe it. That is all the encouragement to keep playing this game which they need.

I don't have any idea how to prevent or control or even really influence where they go from here. Remember also that they were doing oppo work too, I have no idea how many of the hashtags and such going around originated with them, but they definitely did their part in keeping certain things trending besides just the ones they started.

I want the punchline to all of this to be that it turns out Trump was right all along and he does in fact make America Great again, just to spite the people who think he can't.

Judging by his rhetoric, his view of greatness is best modeled by 1940-1950s US socioeconomics.

Unless he creates a world war, that won't happen.

(Us dominance in global commerce and manufacturing was primarily an artifact of being the only country with a functional manufacturing infrastructure.)

guys ow got banned cuz his 'joke' involved a url with the word N****** in it

it has nothing or little to nothing to do with the weird memetangle you got going there
It was in response to the KEK square, IIRC. Which is why my view of KEK square is that it's basically a meme for ban bait.

Who knows, maybe once they get some of the crazy and the excitement out of their system, they'll reform themselves.

The FPTP system would actually make it easier for 4Chan to do that because they can just concentrate on one party. A ranked voting system (or something other than FPTP) and possibly multiple parties would make it harder for them to manipulate any one single party as they'd have to try and manipulate multiple candidates in multiple parties, or even force them to organize as a party.

It'd be like that one Swedish political party or something.
