My god. Donald Trump-sempai, here on Bay 12! This is an auspicious day.

You caught me.  I was secretly in the tank for Hillary the whole time.  Also, if I looked distracted last night that's cuz it's really hard to watch NBC, make posts and debate at the same time.  You guys should be thanking me for that.

and an active (if unsuccessful) first lady... but it's important to see it here)

Dude she won the first lady cookie contest twice.  TWICE.

Since Bill shamelessly copied her winning recipe, yeah, probably.

Wouldn't he be "First Dude" anyways?

Didn't actually watch it until it was over and just looked through some clips.

It's like "blah blah, Hillary acting like a politician, ok we get the idea... where's Trump saying something crazy" and then comes out with "bigly" or something, awesome.

Reading the various threads of people watching it was more fun. "Guys, my milk carton has a picture of Lester Holt on it, wtf, that was fast!"

It's "First Gentleman", actually.

... it's probably worth noting that a google about the first lady title had a blurb about that at the immediate top of the results >_>

I skipped it. I've discovered I can't listen to Trump talk for more than like a minute before I have an uncontrollable need to stop doing so. It sounds like it went like I expected though. Curious to see the bump or hit people take. Cynically I don't think much will change in poll numbers. But maybe I'm lowballing America's ability to be swayed by a television spectacle, despite the ample information that's been out there for years about why you shouldn't vote for Trump.

I skipped it too. No cable, and I have no desire to throw my laptop across the room.

You guys really missed out.  Clips can not convey what happened last night.  You have to see the way that Trump just Trumped non-stop for an hour and half.  You just have this constant spectacle of him being an asshole and thinking that THIS time he is going to get back at Clinton and meanwhile she is just laughing her ass off.  Seriously, watch that shit.  It was HILLARIOUS.

Of course, what they'll do with someone who has been President before gets kinda fuzzy, since he's still addressed as 'Mr. President'.

President Gentleman.

Does this mean if he starts a club, it'll be the "White House First Gentleman's Club"? Bow-chicka-wow-wow.

I had some conjecture but then I just checked Google, and he'll still be Mr. President.  (it has to be sung marilyn monroe style though)
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/2016/06/07/what-do-we-call-bill-clinton-if-hillary-president/85510416/

heh, "Adam".  And Hillary herself said "first dude", that's great.

Historically, apparently Adams served in the House and Johnson served in the Senate after being president, and I don't know what they were called while serving, but it seems they could have insisted on "Mr. President" instead of "Representative"/"Senator".
