Still, capitalizing it does make it confusing so shifting it around probably woulda helped.

Yes, that's the point.

Well, there's the Donald here, managing to mess up a practice Town Hall debate run and populated entirely by people sympathetic to him. If he can't handle that, the next debate (which is a Town Hall debate populated by uncommitted voters) will be a rough time for him.

If Donald Trump does in fact implode and sanity returns to America, the town hall is the most likely time for it to happen.  This is given a little bit of a boast given that Clinton is hyper prepared for this environment from her years of "card table time".

Anyone have a favorability rating of Clinton post-first debate? I'm curious to what degree her favorabilty has improved versus whether Trump's simply fell further.

Depending on how much you want to smooth you can say her approval ticked up a couple points since the debate or that a trend of improvement that was already underway continued:
smoothing
less smoothing

Either way she's at about 43.5% positive 53.5% negative.

It usually isn't, from what I recall. Debates matter but they don't often cause really big shifts.

Heheh, oh, Donald. You're not really real, are you? You're like a hallucination in a fever dream. I'll be glad when you're gone, but there'll be just a hint of regret, too...

It made a larger dent in the polling than it did in her favorability polling.

In the polling it was massive.  Looking like 4 maybe 5 points.

I'm so disappointed: I've got a funding presentation on monday and there is no way I can go Trump drinking game for the second debate.

That sounds like a lack of motivation or dedication to me! Where's your sense of civic responsibility?

It's a shame not a lot has happened in-between. The only things to add to the drinking game are "Trump knows he's fucked", "That Mexican Thing", and "Hurricane Matthew controversies".

Oh, and the Honkening, but I doubt they'll mention it.
