Do you think it's implausible because it's convoluted?  That's what lawyers are for.
Hold up. That was convoluted? I'm not really grokking it entirely at the moment because my brain is going somewhat haywire, and m'not terribly exposed to tax processing to begin with, but what I could was... fairly straightforward, as that sort of thing goes. Wasn't a 1040EZ or somethin' but it didn't look like it was approaching arcane.

I googled veep debate and the first result was the RNC website:

Americans from all across the country tuned in to watch the one and only Vice Presidential ...

Hold up. That was convoluted?

I guess we disagree on semantics.  Let's fight to the death.

Implausible because it wouldn't be as lucrative as depreciating his own assets under the assumption that he'd be able to push the losses off indefinitely if he could get estate tax killed (which he is trying to do) and be dead anyways if he couldn't.

They really should have that table format for the presidential debates, even if just as a change from the podium style. Always good to do various types.

I believe that this gets him more then just depreciating the assets.  He already gets an amount equivalent to the depreciation when he claims the loss.  Normally he would forgo the depreciation but he stuck other people with the obligation not to claim depreciation so he was able to claim almost as much depreciation as he would have anyway.

As I understand it.

The chronospheres strike again.

Also clearly we already did, m, and then the victor slaughtered their way through to the time travel machine to undo the horrible results.

@maniac: Did a quick google search and here's one: http://newsthissecond.co.uk/2016/10/02/live-stream-vice-presidential-debate/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

I remember the table format being used before in a presidential debate, but I forget which year.

Ironically I just shaved off my goatee an hour ago.  So sorry about that.

So it seems both these men are the fathers of marines.  If the debate is boring we could have the sons fight it out.

They're not even standing up!

That's traditional.  It's a tribute to FDR.

I'm digging this NBC scouting prospect facts they display on the side.  It's just like watching pigskinball.

I find it slightly funny that Pence (the republican) is wearing a blue tie while Kaine (the democrat) is wearing a red tie. More of a 'huh interesting' funny than 'ha ha' funny.

One has to wonder if it was intentional to switch tie colors. A point to remember is that technically the Republicans aren't red and the Democrats aren't blue. News reporting using these colors made it a popular association until it was official.
