Trump is slamming the director of the CIA now calling him the "head of the fake news". Sure, the CIA has it's history but they're not really at the Pizzagate level (which Trump isn't calling fake news).

This is what happens when you elect an internet troll as president. I mean that in full sincerity, if you swapped Trump with some of the potty mouthed 12 year olds who've received permabans here you probably couldn't tell much difference.

Trump def had a anti-CIA position since early in the election, so its no surprise he'd throw everything he can at them now. Accusing the CIA of taking part in the creation of fake news against him is just the lowest hanging fruit. Things are only going to get creepier as the day of his office approaches.

True, and he's been lashing out at Obama's guys, we'd have to see if he still acts like that when his people are confirmed. It remains to be seen if he'll believe his own people since he'll have them do their own reports within 90 days.

Donald Trump re-examines the value of US policy toward Africa. The questions regarding Boko Haram are outdated since the Nigerian army has pretty well dispersed them, but I think his concerns about where the money goes are well-founded. Overall it seems to speak to a conception that Africa is mostly irrelevant, or rather that American interests there are better served in other ways.

Despite December job gains coming in below expectations — at 156,000 — the hottest US labour market in a decade is being ignited by the incoming administration in Washington. As many as three million American employees forecast to voluntarily quit their current jobs in January alone, according to analyst projections.

That’s the largest January number expected to walk off the job since 2007 — an undoubted sign of more jobs waiting out there, the analysts say.

“You are going to have an exceptionally strong labour market this quarter — and the historical data supports this trend — backed at least by the perception that this new administration is going to create more of a friendly economic environment that will foster business growth,” according to David Lewis, chief executive of OperationsInc, one of the Northeast’s largest human resources outsourcing and consulting firms.

Lewis expects the “quit” numbers, compiled by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, to keep surging through the first quarter, as more workers, disgruntled by a decade of meagre or no pay raises, are lured by other employers on hiring sprees with promises of higher compensation.

Well it's interesting whether you'd attribute this to Trump or that the basic economy is sound due to stuff that happened in the Obama campaign. If people are already hiring and offering pay rises before Trump's policies are even implemented, then that suggests that the economy was already sound, but there was a lack of confidence.
