I might have gone a bit too far in my criticism of Neo, been a bit too personal. I have nothing against the fellow (though I don't really know much about him for the same reasons I stated in my original post; his posts just tend to do the visual equivalent of "in one ear and out the other") and I stand by the concept I expressed as criticism of his writing and discussion style, but not as a criticism of the fellow themselves.

Why would the FBI -- who actively interceded in the election in support of Trump -- turn around and say that he's a Russian stooge unless they had some pretty clear evidence?

Why would the FBI -- who actively interceded in the election in support of Trump -- turn around and say that he's a Russian stooge unless they had some pretty clear evidence?

Why would they then release evidence that doesn't actually point to Russian state orgs, but rather, to Ukrainian private-public code, out of all things? Because that is about the opposite of what you'd want to release if your intentions are to incriminate Russian government.

Mostly for the possible radical effect it could have on the Supreme Court, though the real factor was avoiding Trump rather than attaining Hillary. This is probably going to stand as a record for the election with most net unfavorability.

the whole situation is surreal. why would they claim to have released the evidence, if analysis point in all other directions? last three months made completely no sense to me. seems everyone is just throwing poo around without any real objective in mind and I guess even the most lunatic conspiracy theorist can't make a line in the patterns.

Executive Branch isn't what actually matters, at all.  And idealists get jaded *fast* in the highest office.
