Well it is sort of weird.

Trump hates China
Trump hates Mexico
Trump hates Europe / NATO
Threatening to pull defense spending from South Korea and Japan

Basically he's had harsh words for all of America's major trading partners (except Canada, but what can you really say?), but not a single harsh word to say about what Russia has been up to.
he literally calls on Russian government hackers to help his campaign
1. When the fuck did he ever call on them?
2. You seriously fucking think Russian cyberdudes have nothing better to do?
3. All the leaks that these "hackers" grabbed are from Clintons fucking emails. If there's sketchy shit in there, and there is, its on CLINTONS GODDAMN HEAD, NOT TRUMPS. FUCKING FUCK.

2. Well, America is one of the most powerful countries in the world, right? If they can prop up a president who'll be friendly to them, rather than unfriendly, that'll be pretty good for them.
3. Even if Clinton did something shady, it's inappropriate for Trump to encourage another country to launch cyber-attacks against his own country, and disturbing that Russia is trying to influence the election.

For a friendly reminder, Watergate was almost exactly the same shit as this.  Nixon just knew in his dear little paranoid heart that the democrats were hiding something so he arranged a breakthrough.  He was sure that after TOTALLY ILLEGAL SHIT GUYZ was uncovered everyone would love him.  All you have to do is replace burglars with hackers and the fact that Trump made his call openly...

Tradition erodes...

Well, that confirms it. BFEL is a Russian shill, as well. Only a Russian shill could ignore the facts in such an outrageously obvious manner.

So, how much do you get in your paycheck from Russia, BFEL? Is it in rubles, in USD, or in Euros?

Yes, I know....polls this early, blah blah blah. But people said the same thing when Trump started showing early strength in the GOP primary too.

I'm telling ya man, we are fucked.  Start stockpiling ammo.

It's really a pretty safe investment. No matter what happens, there's gonna be a run on the ammunition markets.

It's not even really a Russian shill thing.  It's to be perfectly expected that Russia would want to spy on it's geopolitical rival.  Russia wants the candidate more amenable to it's interest to win.

This BBC article which went up 3 hours ago looks at any potential links between the Trump campaign and the Russians:

http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-36862749

And yes, he did say outright that he hopes the Russian hackers can get more American emails.

Quote
Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign chairman, has spent decades as a political adviser in eastern Europe.

Mr Manafort worked closely with former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who was ousted from power in 2014 and is a known ally of Vladimir Putin.

According to Josh Marshall, one of the most vocal journalists questioning Mr Trump's Russian ties, his foreign policy advisor Carter Page has "deep and continuing financial and employment ties" to Gazprom, Russia's trillion dollar energy company.

"It is no exaggeration to say that you cannot be involved with Gazprom at the very high level which Page has been without being wholly in alignment with Putin's policies," Marshall writes.

But in a critical response to Marshall, author Jeffery Carr notes that Mr Page "left Gazprom in 2007 and has made very little money from Russia ever since".
Quote
The Republican National Committee shifted their stance on Russia under pressure from Trump staff in the days leading up to the convention in Cleveland last week.

One delegate proposed an amendment calling for the US to provide eastern Ukraine with "lethal defensive weapons" in their ongoing struggle with Russian-backed rebels in the region.

According to the Washington Post, Trump's allies pushed to weaken the statement, committing instead to providing "appropriate assistance".

It was the only substantial change to the platform that Mr Trump's team requested, and it came as he told the New York Times that he might not honour Nato commitments should Russia invade Baltic states.

All the direct links between Trump and Russia fall flat. What do not fall flat, are links between a number of Trump's senior staff and Russian entities aligned with Putin.

It's worth checking out who exactly Trump's campaign advisor Paul Manafort actually is:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Manafort

Manafort has also acted on behalf of a number of dictators in the past, including -
- Ferdinand Marcos of the Philippines
- Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire
- Siad Barre of Somalia
- The miltary junta in Nigeria in the 1990s
- Kenya, back in the time when there was one party rule and massive oppression

Quote
These activities led Manafort's firm to be listed amongst the top five lobbying firms receiving money from human-rights abusing regimes in the Center for Public Integrity report "The Torturer's Lobby"
Quote
Manafort wrote the campaign strategy for Edouard Balladur in the 1995 elections, and admitted to having been paid under the table[17] (at least $200,000). The money was transferred to him through his friend, Lebanese arms-dealer Abdul Rahman al-Assir, from middle-men fees paid for arranging the sale of three French Agosta-class submarines to Pakistan, in a scandal known as the Karachi Affair.
Quote
Association with Pakistani Inter-Service Intelligence Agency

Manafort received $700,000 from the Kashmiri American Council between 1990 and 1994, supposedly to promote the plight of the Kashmiri people. However, an FBI investigation revealed the money was actually from Pakistan's Inter-Service Intelligence agency as part of a "false flag" operation to divert attention from terrorism. A former Pakistani ISI official claimed Manafort was aware of the nature of the operation. While producing a documentary as part of the deal, Manafort interviewed several Indian officials while pretending to be a CNN reporter.
Maybe Trump is a puppet, and Manafort is his Dick Cheney.

Makes sense, considering Panama Papers. Russian government is pretty careful in maintaining a layer of deniability in financial relationships.

Manafort has also acted on behalf of a number of dictators in the past, including Ferdinand Marcos.

Maybe Trump is a puppet, and Manafort is his Dick Cheney.
Well, it's more like he's an easily manipulatable financially-illiterate (filed 6 times for bankruptcy) idiot (he's given Cruz prime time on RNC, after insulting his family). Not a direct puppet, but he's certainly eager to serve, what with him constantly trying to flatter Putin with praise.

And yet, more than 40% of Americans are willing to vote for him.

Interestingly enough, there ain't any simple translation for that word. Depending on context, there are many different possible translations. The most common one, however, is literally translated to English as "stool-pigeon", or a "decoy-duck".

Sadly, it doesn't appear to blend easily with Trump's name. "Trump-duck" is a little bit too stupid and non-obvious.

That doesn't make a lick of sense.

Manipulating the elections of the World's #1 superpower is basically the best bang-for-buck you're going to get out of hackers.

USA is Russia's #1 threat to their re-emergence as a military power. If they can get a friendly in power, they win.

USA is also Russia's #1 arch-nemesis from history. All the top leaders are Soviet guys. Putin himself used to be a KGB guy, and was head of it's successor FSB after that..

(toad-edit: not a double post, I removed some trolling in between)

Also, on one side we have missing emails ...

while on the other side, Trumps campaign manager used to shill for dictators who tortured people, directly for cash, while also working for the Nixon, Reagan administrations, who also had their own share of collusion with torturers. That's all well documented, and this guy is the main string puller behind Trump. That's the real scary part. Trump is the clowny front-man, but he's backed by some 100% evil fucks.

Meanwhile, we have that Mrs Clinton was sloppy with her emails ... that's about the extent of the evidence.
