Cave adaptation while sleeping
« on: July 05, 2016, 04:45:31 am »

Hi

I'm currently working on a design to have my dwarves mostly not cave adapt.

The principle is to have high traffic areas outside and medium traffic areas inside, but light (so: expose to sky, then build roof).

I was integrating a dormitory into the design when I started wondering: do dwarves cave adapt while sleeping? Unless the game designers made a point of turning it off while dwarves sleep, it should be happening, yes?

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
