a single limestone boulder. You made a throne, check back in 5 minutes, ill get you the ddescription.

Also, i think we got a door-to-door salesman. A human came, left a book about some city, telling us we should visit it..
Phew. I really don't want to become a legendary carpenter... For reasons...

I could probably run about 10 years in my two weeks. Done the whole year today.

I can try year two. This is an idea worth getting off the ground!

Well, so long as off the ground is: casually leaning slightly so maybe one corner is a little off the ground.

Sure, here's the save (uploading)

I have a suggestion: Enable furnace operating as your choice of labo, as we need it to smelt ore. We have magma stuff

Edit- mobile internet strikes again! Uploading overnight.

Hmm, maybe also kill the weapon/armorsmith to get metalcrafting and plant gathering? That'd make it possible to move magma up to the main fort for forges, as well as get season-free surface plant farming going. I'd have to see the fort.

You need... plant processing to get thread, weaving to get cloth, and clothesmaking for clothing and bags. That's not happening.

If there's sand, then glassmaking for traps would be fantastic after getting a magma kiln.

Dont kill the metalsmith! we need weapons and armor, the dead walk here!

save: http: //dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=12237

oh, as for the cloth, all we need is plant processing, we got the rest. i think.
We dont need plant gathering, we have farms, and half a caravan worth of stuff. Also, there is a cage in the dining room, for putting kittens/puppies in. Those will grow to be food.

Writeup later

as for the kiln, we have valuable fire clay! and yes, there is sand. Though lets start using our butload of iron first, I am making furniture from the ore as there is so much

Can I request a dorf who does the most minimal labor?  I am thinking Pump Operator and Wax Worker.

Given migrants have 0 labours, that would get you 0 labours to spread around.

Waiting to hear from Spriggans if I'm going to pick up the next turn.

A couple notes: I think Gwolfski's save is for 43.05, Spriggans is from 43.04, so assuming that Gwolfski just played the game with the next version:

- I can't open Gwolfski's turn with 43.04, under the fort rules.
- It will be missing 43.05 changes. (This is almost negligible, since the only raws change was to Gorlaks. They learned to open doors and had a size change.)

Spriggans, how do you want to proceed? There's no version of Therapist for either 43.04 or 43.05 as of today, yikes!  (edit, wow, yeah, this one is a pain to even check the save file without Therapist.)
