Yes, another test subject! Aloud she said: "I'll be sure to bring the first sample soon, then. For the captain... isn't it kind of impossible to avenge him? The person who killed him is dead. Very dead."
"Well I mean..." Gregory hesitated, gesturing vaguely with one hand.
"Who ever is behind it I mean. There's. Gota be more to the whole thing right? Whoever's caused all this, if it wasn't that mage woman, is sorta the ultimate cause of all the bad things right?" Gregory finished quizzically.
"Good! In that case, let's just hope that you and everyone else will get a little more peace and quiet before we head out again. Or perhaps an invigorating potion. Some additional equipment would also be good to have. If we had a sedating staff, for example, the whole disaster could've been averted. I wonder if our mission is too secret to receive any funding."
"Ah! you know what!" Gregory replied in reponse to Arnolds question about funding, before pushing his chair back from the table and pulling his pack into his lap. Gregory rummaged though it for a few moments, muttering some unintelligible things like "I think it was here" or "Certainly here?" he triumphantly pulled himself out of the pack, clutching a leather pouch that was buried deeply inside.
"I still have the funds for our mission from wayyyyy back when we first got here. Perhaps we should look into getting such a thing?" he said with a grin.
"I wouldn't mind something else, either. I'm good with inflicting curses and stuff, better than I am with healing, and I need an axe." She made a lively chopping motion."Can't go wrong with a trusty axe."
"Ahh..." Gregory said, considering what Flora said. Weighing the pouch in one hand Gregory thought further about their supplies.
"Although hopefully we can requisition more supplies soon. Because I don't think we have enough to get that much stuff."
