Shaelynn screams, letting a stray bolt of magic fly into the ceiling in her shock.

Flora did more than give a hand, instead she lunged forward and engulfed Iris in a hug, entering full chatterbox mode. It had been a while, and now Iris was faced with the full might of Flora de Conversation.
"Iris! It feels likes its been ages has it been ages how have you been this place is kind of creepy isn't it there's probably skeletons walking about or something and blondie was talking about robbing graves which is kinda weird but hey maybe he's in hard times and oh-"
She cut off.
"Sorry, I'll heal you now. Brace yourself."

She tapped Iris with her heal staff and focused, and slowly her wounds knitted together. Flora had the dubious honour of having been told in the past by a few people that her healing was perhaps one of the least pleasant sensations they'd felt- a sort of itchy cold that crawls along wounds until they shut.

At the scream she nodded sagely.

"I'm betting right now. Skeletons."

Jann's ear perked, whipping his head around to find the source of the sound. As Shaelynn moved out into the hallway they just left, he followed.
: "Hold on, where are you-?"
He was quickly interrupted when the skeleton's speech began... and was quickly followed with a scream.
: "-rh! Get back!"
Jann to 4,11. Rescue Shaelynn.

"Lady Peritz! Jann! Blast it all, foul miscreants have ambushed us! Alissa, let's go lend a hand, quickly!"

Shaelynn made another noise when Jann pulled her out from in front of the skeleton. "Jann! That skeleton is alive! Do something!"

: "I can see that!" Jann readied his hatchet, which unfortunately didn't look like it could dent the skeleton's armor, "Ishim, get over here! This thing's wearing too much metal to deal with alone!"

Move to 3,11, blocking off the spooky scary skeleton with my manliness. Equip Slim Lance too.

Iris grimaced slightly at the healing sensation and sighed at the scream.

"Yes, it's been a while and no I don't understand why he was saying that either. I highly doubt that was a skeleton causing that scream, but I do agree this is not a place I would want to stay long term. Hopefully we can find who is leading these rats and find out what exactly they're trying to pull with this whole thing. You... You look good though. Glad to see you've been doing well."

Gregory was torn between rushing to see what the screaming was about and staying to help defend against the ambushers. Seeing how skilled and deadly the group of enemies to the north looked however made his mind up, perhaps he was needed down south, but he was certainly needed here against these people now! Stepping forward he summoned fourth his magic, sending an orb of blackish purple flux towards the closest enemy!
