Once alone, Shaelynn closed the door and removed her dress, rinsing it further in the bucket before hanging it up ro dry out. The young noblewoman retrieved the sewing kit that Gregory had lent her, and set about clumsily sealing the gash the dress had received in the earlier battle.

Siegfried checks if there's any burial left to do. If not, he goes to the inn and thumps down into a seat.

[Mopsy]

"For the villagers, and for us soldiers, it was just the right time. I know what you mean, though. Our ship arrived yesterday, and there's already been two battles. Two more than I needed."

Arnold looks up at Jann, Cecil and Alissa.
"I think I'll be going to the inn now. I'd be delighted if you'd join me. There's too much I don't know about this land."

Gregory watched Siegfried the sodden soldier sit upon his seat. Making his way over to the man Gregory sat down on a nearby chair facing him.

"How you holding up after the battle? You sure took a lot of blows, I was impressed you managed to keep standing." Gregory asked the large man.

Friderick quietly went into the inn and slumped into a seat, still tired from the battle.

Alissa nods, and follows Arnold to the inn.

"Hah, 'tis the power of fighting for justice! But more seriously, I heal very quickly. I've been told it's a sort of innate magic, but that sort of thing has always gone over my head." He leans back in his seat and sighs.

Gregory leaned forward, leaning his elbows on the table as his face lit up with interest. "Oh really? I've heard of such phenomena before, but never had a chance to study a case first hand. Unconscious or natural use of magic for healing properties? Utterly fascinating. I'd love to get a chance to study your body more closely at some point... If we ever find the time that is." Gregory finishes, leaning back into his chair with a sigh.

Cecil also follows Alissa.

When they get to the inn, Arnold looks for a barkeep or anyone else who is working there.
"I wonder if they are open for business or just left the door unlocked."

The barkeep was absent.

Or maybe even dead. There were quiet noises coming from one of the rooms, however.

"Did you hear that?"
Arnold goes to investigate. If the door is closed, he knocks.

"Hello?"

Shaelynn looked up from subpar stitching. "I'm busy. Is it important?"

Arnold was a little startled.

"Oh, no, sorry! I mistook you for a terrified child."

Seeing Alissa enter, Friderick turned towards her.
"Oh, miss, thanks for the help you and your companions gave us earlier."
