Siegfried looked around at his comrades and gritted his teeth. He was supposed to be out front protecting them, yet they'd gotten this battered. It seemed like he made some kind of mistake as a knight virtually every day. . .
"I'll keep watch while everyone rests," he said simply. It'd give him time to think, at least, and he wasn't hurt.

[GiglameshDespair]

"Well, we're alive, and that's what matters. Everyone else fine?"

[Swordstar]

"I know a couple of people could probably use some help. Including that cavalier I mentioned. Err... Cecil. That's his name."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"I'll keep watch. Is Alissa okay?"

[Chevaleresse]

"Alissa is well. Cecil, you need rest possibly more than anyone here."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Cecil seems relieved for a few seconds, before shaking his head.
"I'll be fine, I just.....need a few minutes, is all."

[Chevaleresse]

"Which is why you should let me take watch, friend."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Two pairs of eyes are better than one, my compatriot!"

[Chevaleresse]

"Even if one of those sets is droopy with exhaustion and wounds? We need you to be in good condition for future battles, Cecil, not pushing yourself to your limits when you do not need to."

[Swordstar]

Iris stepped over to the two arguing men.

"How about this solution? Cecil, let my sister take care of you and then you can go check on Alissa and see how she is doing. I can take watch with Siegfried since I know more about spying and what to look for with people sneaking up on you and the like. Would that be acceptable?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"I suppose so....very well, then!"

[GiglameshDespair]

"Alright! Grit your teeth. For some reason, this is always highly unpleasant to the person being healed."
She span her staff, showing off slightly, before tapping him lightly on the head with it and channelling magic through.

[Chevaleresse]

"Are you sure you're well, Iris? You bore a fair amount of the enemy assault as well."

[Swordstar]

"I'll be fine. I got healed right before that last combat and while it was rough, I've had worse. The poison seems to have faded now too which is good. I don't see any reason I can't help. Especially if it gets Cecil to rest."

[Chevaleresse]

He nods. "Very well then.

Where are we camping? I, for one, do not find resting amongst corpses to be the most appealing prospect."
