Gregory stepped forward towards the group, avoiding looking at the bodies of the thugs that had so recently been assaulting them. Bowing his head slightly to the green haired mage as he went.

"It is nice to meet you Ms Shaelynn, that was some fine magic work there."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Thank you. I practice my martial talents when I have the opportunity." Shaelynn pointed at the bodies scattered around the area. "Captain, your men ought to search these bodies. There may be evidence of who they're working for on their persons. Afterward, we will depart to meet with my father. He'll want to know about this."

"That's the last of these thugs."

[Haspen]

"Friderick, Siegfried, check the bodies for anything that can tell us more about them." Then the Captain turned to Shaelynn.

"Excuse me, miss, but Chief Advisor said to bring you to his offices, so that's where we will be heading."

"Yes sir!"
Friderick checked the bodies of the thugs nearest to him.

[Mopsy]

Arnold was sitting down, silent, with his back to a wall. The battle itself had been easy, he'd been too busy to worry about anything. Now memories of people getting chopped up and letting out horrible cries were rolling back onto him.

They get jittery because of some suspicious official, but butchering people is just dandy. Maybe that's how soldiers work. ... What the hell am I doing here!? How long before I get stabbed through the mouth? ...

"Captain, your men ought to search these bodies. There may be evidence of who they're working for on their persons."

That's... actually a good idea. At least we'd get something useful out of this mess.
He rose to his feet and adjusted his uniform. Moping was useless.

Shaelynn folded her arms across her chest. "Hm. Well, then I demand we at least dispatch a message to my father first."

[Criptfeind]

Gregory made his way closer Arnold. An anxious expression on his face

"Are you okay? You're not wounded are you?" Gregory asked. He didn't think he noticed Arnold taking a blow, but the way he had sunk down for a moment after the battle before pulling himself up was worrying. It wouldn't do for the person in charge of the groups health to be poorly himself!

[Mopsy]

"I'm fine. I'll be fine. This was my first real combat. The violence of it bothers me a bit."

"How about you and the others? Is there anyone left who needs treatment? I've been distracted for a while."

[Haspen]

There was nothing on the bodies that could point out who and why sent these thugs after Shaelynn.

"For dispatching a message, we need to get anywhere close to a Reich garrison, and it's in direction of the Chief Advisor's office, so..."

Shaelynn sighed painfully. "Very well. When your men are finished with the bodies, we will depart."

[Criptfeind]

"Ah, what? No, no. I'm fine, I wasn't injured at all in the fight. Although you might want to take a look at Friderick, he held off so many of them for so long, I think he's got a few wounds... And, ah, don't worry... This was my first real combat as well. I think, maybe one will get used to it. Maybe." Gregory says with hesitation in his voce. He looks around at the dead thugs scattered about, before casting his eyes away and downward.

[Chevaleresse]

Siegfried stoops down to search the bodies, an expression of unease on his face.
"Such is combat. They chose this, and would have subjected us to the same given the opportunity.

. . .Ah, Shaelynn, I didn't happen to catch your last name."

"And you presume to ask it without offering your own. My word." Shaelynn looked over at Richard. "Your subordinate's manners are atrocious, Captain."

[Mopsy]

"Perhaps we will."

"I'm sure they would have, Siegfried. It's not about whether their deaths were justifiable. ... It's about how their lives were lost."

Arnold goes to check on Friderick.
