[Haspen]

For the last twenty years, the Reich began to dominate the Troian Empire; first economically, then politically, and finally militarily, absorbing one land after another, putting the old monarchy under the heel of Reich republican bureaucracy.

Some welcomed the change, as the Reich for long time has been a friend in the eyes of the Troian populace.

Some however refuse to acknowledge their overlords, and in the shadows and alleys they plot and plan the demise of the new regime, endangering the fragile peace and stability that just arrived in the region.

Shall the conspirators be stopped before the Overseasland will see another mountain of corpses and seas of tears as a result of a rebellion?

Mayhaps an investigator, certain man called Richard Astleich, and his men, can stop this from happening...

~~Prologue: A Little Leg Stretching~~

30th Vierzember:
The storm that stirred the seas for the last two days have finally subsided and 'The Oberstein' have finally been able to set sail again. Despite this slight delay, we will be arriving at Blumhart by tomorrow's morning, or so does the good captain of the frigate say. And because of that, I have decided to give those young soldiers assigned to me a small training drill, with permission and help of the Oberstein's crew. After all, the youths were stuffed in their cabins for last three weeks; a little leg stretching won't hurt.

Few amused seamen were betting coins. A pair of younger ones, eager for some brawling, plus a healer, were at the deck as well, while the Captain's first officer, a man named Oskar, brandished a javelin with a resigned sigh.

"Man, why is it always me..."

"...and remember, don't overdo it. The chaplain here can heal only some of the wounds." Richard Astleich then stepped away from his soldiers.

"Begin!"

~~Player Turn 1~~

Kick the butts of the two Seamen and then defeat Oskar.

Gregory gulped, slightly nervous, as he looked at the burly seamen across from them. He was no stranger to 'practical exercises', but out here with the boat rolling beneath his feet and the smell of salt in the air it felt somehow more real then most sparing that he had done. Still, as they said, first to strike wins, and Gregory wasn't going to let sailors, no mater how muscular, get the better of a trained Reich mage!

"I'm going to go in guys! Back me up, but be careful!"

Gregory strode forward three spaces north to 5-11 as he quickly leafed to the correct page of his book, starting the incantations, purple runes appeared in mid air spewing tendrils of dark energy towards his enemy as Gregory attacked Reich Seaman A with Flux!

Gregory is currently Ready! His personal skill giving him +10 to hit and +10 to evasion.

[Mopsy]

"Go get them, Gregory! I'll patch you up if you get whacked."

Arnold quickly began to check his healing staff and other equipment. It would be embarrassing to be caught unprepared here.

[Chevaleresse]

"Do not fear, we'll be right behind you. This should be invigorating!"

As he speaks, Siegfried jogs forward four spaces to 7-9.

"Finally, I can get some practice in. I was afraid my spear was going to be blunt by the time we got off."
Seeing Gregory move forward, Friderick moved forward as well, gripping his spear tightly and holding it in front of himself.
Move to 5-10.

[Mopsy]

Arnold advanced behind Siegfried, moving to 7,11.

The axeman duo chopped at Friderick and Siegfried!

Captain Astleich rubbed his nose in consternation at this display of... of mediocre fighting.

"Oof. . . That stings. . ." Siegfried remains where he is for the moment. however.

Looks like giving us a little warm-up was a good idea...


"Let me know if you want treatment before you strike these guys again."

[Criptfeind]

"Auch!" Gregory loudly exclaimed as his magic missed the mark, his inexpert incantations causing it to flail weakly, and as a result the seaman was unhindered in his blow upon Friderick. "Sorry Friderick! I'll get him this time!" Gregory called to the solider that was protecting him. As he called upon the dark magicks again.

This time the zplorch was more accurate.

Friderick took out a vial of medicine from his pouch and snorted some of the powder inside.

"Thank you, Friderick. I'll try to help the other axe victim."
Move to 7,10, heal Siegfried.
