X men

In X-men animated series there was a story of a character being born to an austrian duke or something - which one and which episode was that? I can't remember...

The one with Mystiques backstory I think?  Episode 22.  Er, or maybe episode 59?

Was it the one with Phalanx? (or Proteus?) the reality warper kid? (who died in the comics oddly enough)

Mystique was born in the 1930s I think, and this was supposed to happen earlier - like in the beginning of the 20th century, when there was still Austria-Hungary. Can't remember more I'm afraid.

Professor was born in 1934. Anyone was born before? If its an austrian duke it has to be 1900s or 1910s. I remember a scene when he arrived in a car and was wearing a blue uniform, and was shocked that his baby was a monster. I can't remember who that was.

I thought Nightcrawler was Bavarian by birth, and possibly even Mystique's son.  Certainly he is younger

But that might have been (initially/more recently) different from the backstory I recollect.  I can never keep track of these things.

Mr Sinister was born earlier, but I think he was 100% american.

Honestly I wonder what Marvel will do once WW2 becomes too distant for Magneto and Xavier.

In fact... it kind of already is... with them being about in their 80s

And to think Marvel made Nightcrawler renounce his religion (due to a cult trying to make Nightcrawler the Anti-Christ... of Catholics who don't believe in the Anti-Christ) mostly because they believe Religion is dead/corrupt and wanted to expunge it from his character.

Marvel is a really weird company at times

"AMERICA IS DEAD! quick kill of Captain America"
"But we already did that"
"Well replace him with an anti-hero"
"We already did that"
"Well uhhh... make him evil!"
"We are currently doing that"
"DANG IT!!!"
"If you'd like we can make Dr. Doom more evil. That always cheers you up"

I guess he might have been Bavarian, but was he born before WW1 or during it?

If Mystique's son, we know she's still a child, well post-WW1, unless there's also time-travel, as well as any longevity and extended youthfulness involved.
