Atsuko is back in her base purple form, shivering with fear. "Oh... Oh god... " She appears to now be huddled up on the floor, gently swaying from side to side.

"What... what have they done to my school...?"

"This d-decor is pretty terrible. I can see why y-you're upset."
Akemi tries to chuckle but it comes out as more of a whimper.

Honoka coughs. "E-Even if it seems like it's way too obvious, isn't it more pointless to just sit here and do nothing? If we're not going to the gym we could look around at least."

"....wasn't there a teacher here, anyway?"

Kyle has an odd look of deja vu. Then with a shrug of indifference he gets up and starts to head inside the gym.
"This is like the time someone convinced me to eat those mushrooms..."

Kuí walks up to the gym door and opens it just a crack to look inside.

"Ahem. Just where do you think you're going?"
Suddenly, the door to the gym snaps shut, all the lights seem to focus on one particular spot, an eerie chill seeps through all of you and, in a flash of magic, he appears.

Mordred, his left eye seemingly glowing an eerie scarlet.
"Please do not attempt to leave this room until I have given permission. My apologies for the unlocked door; such negligence will not occur again, I assure all of you." He seems to stare at every single one of you at once.

Kyle says, still trying to open the door.

"Alright, if this is some sort of joke, it's not funny any more, and if it's supposed to be a test then this place is definitely failing at trying to be like a human school."

"Why?"
Kyle says, still trying to open the door.

It isn't working. "So that I may tell all of you what is happening at once without repeating myself."

Hanro seems utterly, utterly shocked. "Bu- whu- M-M-Mordred?! What in the world are you doing?!" His glasses slide off of his face as he shouts. His bunny ears pop up.

"Are your attempts at leaving having any sort of visible success?"

"Nope."
Kyle doesn’t stop though.

"What...what is so important that you have to lock us in to tell it to us?"

"Yeah! What the hell do you think you're trying to pull here, you shitty cat?"

"Allow me to explain. You are all the best and brightest the world of monsters has to offer. You are geniuses. Prodigies. The cream of the crop. You bring hope to the world. You are like a sunrise.

In order to preserve that hope, you will all be living in a communal lifestyle in this school together, with no contact with the rotten and disgusting outside world."

Hanro looks like he's about to faint. Kanzaki stops pounding on the metal plates.

"Wh- then... you mean... these metal plates are meant to keep us locked up in here?!"
"Correct. No matter how much you scream, or bite, or kick, or pound, no one will hear you now. I have also confiscated any means of contacting the outside world via cellphones or the internet. My apologies, but it is all for the greater good."
