She seems satisfied, but stops talking to Ayako. She feels the surge, and turns towards Kyou. "Hey... Did you feel something?"

"Y-Yeah, uh, what's going on...?"

"Not that I know of!" Wakana furrows her brow, sets down, and begins walking towards Mr. Lawbook.

He stares at her.

Akemi said hello to the people she was sat by.

Masaya waves. The other one says nothing.

Naoto remembers something.
"Oh, that's right, I'll be right back! I just need to take care of something."
He walks off quickly, heading in the direction of the principal's office.
The magical energy builds up massively around one spot.......and then it poofs almost anticlimactically, revealing a small, black tomcat standing on its hindlegs, with a white spot in the middle of its chest and a small golden crown on his head. He looks around the room with golden, feline eyes and begins floating around, revealing that his tail has forked into two tips. The cat seems to exude immense magical power from his very core.

He begins to speak in a feminine, soft voice.
".....hello. I am Mordred. I am to be your Self-Defense teacher here at Sunrise. I hope you are all settled in nicely, yes?"

Hanro suddenly opens a pair of doors. "Mordred-sensei, please use the doors..."

SHE WAS TORALLY HEADING TOWARDS HIM BECAUSE HE'S IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROOM AND SHE WAS JUST WALKING THERE AHAHAHAHA
She blinks and promptly looks away from Booky. "Uh-- oh. Hi Mordred."

Akemi seems remarkably glad that the book guy didn't answer.
"Hello!"
Smiling at Masaya, she waves back.

Kyle is about to respond when Mordred summarily destroys any chance of him being able to formulate a response due to his distraction.

Suddenly, the lawbook-reading boy stands up. "Self defense, hm? And what sort of self defense would you be teaching us?"

Akemi seems to choke for a second.
Then, very slowly, she nods.

Mordred's tone doesn't change at all.
