You must be new here, don't worry, it'll pass  ;)

As for blinding your dwarves controlled application of FB/evil rain syndromes is one option if you have access to one that blinds.
I actually don't know of another reliable way. Weapon injuries are a little too random.

You can always mod in a new plant, a new syndrome and a few new reactions. Something like "brew a potion of blindness from the acid-stalk." It would feel more authentic than hacking in blindness. Vanilla options are limited, as Pirate Santa explained.

Given that ballista arrows can be fired in only one of 4 directions, there isn't much aiming to do there. The question is relevant for catapults, though, and the answer there is probably that it is another mystery of the world.

I have an idea.

Dress the dwarf entirely in metal armour, except use a cap instead of a helmet. Give him a giant cave spider silk veil, as that, as far as I know, does not cover the eyes. You should then put him in a danger room full of upright wooden weapons with points. Either it'll destroy his eyes or smash his skull and enter his brain, but it is worth a shot.

Helmets also don't protect eyes, so don't use a cap that just means it's more likely their head will get smashed open.

Its a feature. Impregnating booze is a planned tech tree for dwarves and this is a sneak peek at it.

You could retire the fort, get an adventurer to stab the eyes out, then retire the adventurer, and un-retire the fort.

I'm fairly sure you can't specifically target eyes in adventure mode.

Mod out their eyes in the raws would be the easiest thing. If you really want to get into it, create a ballista-blind caste, and a reaction to transform a dwarf into it. :>

You can gouge them with wrestling.

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.
