Audio Transcrips, Fall 321

1st Limestone

Breached a pocket of water in the future ore stockpile, down by the forges. Initially thought that we where in serious trouble, but according to the sensors it was a small pocket unconnected from the rest of the water in that area. Never the less, have ordered construction of a wall to block it off.

3ed limestone

Another invasion of Spawn. Done the usual. But this time, they actually seem to be attacking! Amazing! According to sensor logs there appear to be a total of 32 of the bastards, slowly advancing on the fortress access hall.

4th Limestone
Initial counts where off. Current numbers of attackers are 91. Note to self, put some more traps in the trap hallway. Perhaps also an area designed for fighting, complete with elevated sniper positions to help keep our ranged troops safe... Numbers of invaders is now reported at 100.

5th Limestone
Have requested wardogs assigned to fighters. Most have been. Spawn are still milling about outside, but are getting closer. I pray to Odshith that she aid us in washing these creatures away.

6th Limestone
The spawn have started to enter the hall, which of course is exactly when a pair of scholars decide its time to go home. We waited, expecting to hear their screams, but they nevercame. The spawn just... let them past...

7th Limestone

Combat has joined, with Ilasram being the first into the fray!

Ago Batowokgush, a mercenary from Ballpoint, was the first on ou side to die, struck down by a strike to their upper body, severing their spine.
On a similar note, I quite like chain axes. They do some good damage tho these creatures.
The next body I noticed of ours was that of Ilasram, found with their neck nearly removed. Kikrost Stigazobok, a swardsdwarf, was found next, their head a bloody mess of shards of bone and tissue. Im not quite sure what caused that, I think I was prying one of the creatures off my left arm at the time..
Zuglar Nirzon, hired Parasolian, was next seen, found in much the same state as Kikrost.
Zasit Egdothmafol and MidnightJaguar where found dead at the same time, Zasit with a heavily twisted neck and Midnight shaken to death. Uvash Uzoldoren was next spotted, going down seemingly to bloodloss. Nitho Zegaog, a human merc, was next down, sans his head, but a moment before Aldraglienon followed, leaking blood while passed out on the floor.

8th Limestone
Erith Nobkel and Lomam Segokkadest, both mercenaries and traditionally enemies, where found dead back to back. Shortly afterwards, Asob Datanalmosh went down to bloodloss, Eggu Kisnastdas, Rimtar Keshrigoth and Ilral Lorbamossek going just behind. All but thirty eight of the spawn attacking have been dispatched.

Dodok Solondanman, Zefon the Queen of Gems, Tulon Melbilshem, Zulban Rigothiger, Mafol Onulrithar, Dastot Domasanam, Ral Rakustfikod, Sibrek Amugnish, Isi Neltithothil, Talvieno Mengkokeb, Imush mengkikrost, Besmar Zaneggeshud and Amost Abraskeskal, all these died to drive the last invaders away, the final of them breaking and running from our onslaught. Atleast, thats what I have been told, as I spent the last moments of the battle being hauled to the hospital, my arm damaged.

14th Limestone
Due to our still not being able to swap around the bridges, this years caravan fromthe mountanhomes arrived wagonless. After the bridges where raised the body of Mosus Uzolalath was apparently found. Hopefully they did not meet their demise from the bridge.

In stranger news, there is fighting in a tree between out outpost liaison and a degenerate scholar, who is beating them with a book. Sadly, they managed to kill them before we could put an end to the creatures attacks.

And for trading, we bought out almost all they brought for various mechanisms and a few prepared meals, even making them some offerings for our king.

2nd Sandstone
[IMAGE LOST]
Cavein! Sofar as we can tell noone died in it, but Libash Tiristokir's leg was rather badly mangled and we cant seem to find the miner...

28th Sandstone
Migrants arrived, giving some comments about how we should eb thankful they came at all due to the danger. What a load of crock. In any event, the migrants included:
Dishmab Dakostgidthur, male mardsdwarf. Assigned to the Golden Clearings.
Thikut Ritherith, male kitchen hand. Assigned mining.
Thob Therlethcilob, male speardwarf and brewer. Assigned head of Oily Auras.
Zon Ilonul, female farmhand. Assigned mining.
Kogan Geshudidith, female tanner. Assigned mining.
Monom Libashazin, male metalsmith.

3ed Timber
Due to already overuse of the dormitory(mostly by visitors) more space has been designated in the same area for the same purpose. Speaking of designated, the old stone crafts area has been ordered to be pulled down due to the new spaces designed for that purpose.

7th Timber
Ordered construction of new wheelbarrows, since we dont seem to have any. Also, our first petition for residency since spring came in, from Domas Bellskins. It was approved and they have been assigned to the Slick Constructs.
On another note, someone should really go back through our military and start again from scratch, its a tad messy at the moment. I may do so, should I have the time, but in the event that I do not I am leaving this note.

9th Timber
Kib Fathoslan and Kubuk Asobanriz have been discharged form the military for inability to grasp objects at levels required for fighting. Kubuk was also a miner, so Im not sure why they where even in the military in the first place.

10th Timber
Bomrek Erithmatzang, one of our miners, has apparently decided that civilization is not for them. I later noticed them crouched inside a masons work area, scratching our designs on every surface they could reach. Looks like the Madness of the Gods has claimed another. I wonder what they will make...

15th Timber
A group of entertainers has arrived today. Apparently they are called the Carmine Bottles, and are rather skilled.

20th Timber

Well, Bomrek finished his project. Rather shiny, that floodgate. Worth 2.4k, so thats something.

21st Timber
Ducim Breedarch has applied for residency as a soldier.Approved, assigned to Oily Auras.

27th Timber

Well, this is worrying. Could we have some sort of lunatic going about, committing murder now and then and hiding the bodies?

Pretty safe breach.

Pretty large army. Can Spawn ambush?

Heh, I guess the military is a mess after that. Or before that.

If there were any news from the mountainhome, guess we won't be getting them.
No.  That was the penguins.
That is from where I got the idea.
