I think I'm going to be Batman.
So monk?

I was originally, but then I started feeling a Gunslinger.
At least you'll get deeds and grits with guns, so you'll have more versatility when it comes to things to do with guns.

Did you at least buy him dinner first?

What's the status of the Cavalier orders and the like? How prominent are Cavaliers in an advanced world like this?
Since it's not quite at WWI yet, cavalry is still an important part of the battlefield (albeit with most of them fighting with rifles rather than lances.) Orders would be individual subsets of national militaries, with the shadier/more morally-questionable ones being private militias instead.
Alright, thanks.
Bet you I can fit in a traditional Cavalier order and justify it...

Darth: Looks good. Since we appear to only have four prospective sign-ups anyway, you've basically got a guaranteed spot.

As to traits,
1 - Any traits we aren't allowed to take?
2 - Do we have it so that if we take a Drawback, we can take an extra trait like in the rules, or is that gone through GM fiat?

1- Finding Haleen,  I think it is a campaign trait.
2 - Tawa has not mentioned flaws but let's be honest they're a joke and not much of a drawback. It's almost always better to take a flaw and get a 3rd trait than not to.

Yeah no drawbacks. Sorry.

Finding Haleen (Finding Your Kin in the OGL) is totally ridiculous. You get a free skill point and hit point whenever you take a level in a chosen class, presumably in addition to whatever other favored class bonus you get. Basically everyone bans it for more or less being +2 to your applied CON and INT modifiers at the same time. It's like Leadership in that it's one of those things that, in number-crunching terms, you just take if you're allowed.
