Dhampirs tend to gather in Thryla's eastern protectorate states (Skia, Eclasia) due to the weaker law enforcement there, but Thrylan dhampir are not unheard of.

Since it's not quite at WWI yet, cavalry is still an important part of the battlefield (albeit with most of them fighting with rifles rather than lances.) Orders would be individual subsets of national militaries, with the shadier/more morally-questionable ones being private militias instead.
