Thanks everyone for applying, it was really hard to choicify becuz I stupidly promised spots to newbies and great artists and very active people all at once but then ~20 people for 8 spots.

There will be about 3 to 5 more slots available past Chapter 2, for both Reich and Troian characters, but those slots won't be open till the game gets to Chapter 2, after which there will be a slight pause and I will allow more peeps in. Of course people who applied for early chapters but didnt get it can re-apply later, no problemos there.

The character sheets of peeps who got into earliest chapters will be processed tomorrow and, barring natural disasters or other family dinners, FEF6 should get its IC by tomorrow's evening.

I am glad to be in the game and will do my best to make Arnold a valuable team member. I also have a few questions about communications and politics that may become relevant:

• Does the Reich have regular postal service? Are soldiers' letters read and censored by the military?
• Do newspapers exist in the Reich? If they do, how free is the press?
• Is there any debate about creating a House of Commons, or some other kind of representation for the non-Senatorial classes?
• Have any Overseaslanders been made Senators?

And a couple of questions about language: If I understood the last line of this IRC log correctly, Troian and Reichish are mutually intelligible to some extent. Would it still be a good idea to indicate in a standard way which language our characters are speaking? Like using one font for Reichish and another font for Troian? Are most young Overseaslanders fluent in Reichish?
