Honestly I'm pretty conflicted. IC I wanta go, ooc a map where I can do almost nothing sounds awful.

My magic book broke. I have no weapon. Maybe Haspen would be nice enough to leave a dark magic user nearby that we can beat up and take his lunch money, but I doubt it.

Oh. I'm sure Haspen would give you another book quick - like, as a drop if nothing else. Because just making you do nothing would be kinda stupid.

I dunno. There's a bit about hubris of man and all that would justify not giving me another book. Consider, back when we were purchasing things, I had used like... Idk, 1/3? of my book. And I could have purchased another one. I actively decided not too partially because I thought I'd be able to go about three maps until I run out and I figured we would get a chance to shop before then... And two maps later we got a chance to shop, which we didn't take. And now here we are. It'd make me very sad not to get a new book. But it'd be pretty like. "You deserved it cript you fucking asshole."

That said thinking about it, I really do deserve it. So I'm going to vote we pursue.

I mean, there's "Punishment for hubris" and then there's just being a butt. I could see getting like, the weakest dark magic tome when you could have theoretically bought a much better one, but not getting one at all is just mean.
