Appearance: Nia is an extremely pale-skinned girl standing about 5'6", with hair that's a very vivid red, and about shoulder length, though she normally ties it off outside of combat.  Her eyes are a deep green.
Personality: Nia's at the Academy not necessarily to fight, but to heal first and foremost.  She's certainly not nearly as combat-focused as others, and is rather non-confrontational.  She enjoys chess and reading.

Perks:
Injury Absorption: Nia, in addition to her Basic Attack and Basic Defense, gains a Basic Heal at melee range for 1d4+SYN that adds the amount of the heal to an uncapped Damage Pool.  She can then, with a melee Basic Attack, inflict Pure Damage up to her Damage Pool upon an enemy.

Affinities: Healing, Unarmed Combat, Tactics.

It costs 2 AP to make an ability.  It costs 1 AP to add a level to an ability, granting it an additional feature if the damage formula is static, or increasing the damage if the damage formula scales with the level of the ability.  Ability levels are capped at [level+1] (2 for a level 1 character.) 
You may have a Basic Attack or Heal, and a Basic Defense.  These may not have levels.

A standard damage formula is 2d4+STAT non-scaling or (1+ALVL)d4 scaling.
Healing works similarly.

Basic Attack:Nia attacks, dealing 2d4+DEX (if unarmed) or weapon damage to an enemy.
Basic Heal:Nia absorbs injuries from any target, healing 1d4+SYN damage.
Basic Defense:Nia prepares to counterattack, automatically making a Basic Heal and, if the attacker is in melee range, having the option to counterattack from her Damage Pool.  If she takes no damage this turn, she will still heal herself.

AP: 0/6

Cure (1) (Passive): Nia can additionally remove 1 status per this ability's level with her Basic Heal/apply one status per this ability's level with her Basic Attack.

Increasing Efficacy (1) (Passive): For each consecutive turn Nia heals the same target, she gains an additional +SYN to the roll.  This stacks up to the level of this ability.  (e.x.: Turn 1 of healing:no buff.  Turn 2: 1 buff.  Turn 3, level 1: 1 buff.  Turn 3, level 2: 2 buffs.).

Counterattack (1) (Passive): Nia has a 5DEX% chance to counterattack, capped at 20(ability level)%.

Divining light:LVL:1 August shines a beam of light that deals 1/4 SYN but dispels any darkness for 5 minutes. This action is easy to use, allowing August to sustain it for an hour at a time. Casting Eye Beam will cancel Divining light.
Bright Lights:LVL:1 August augments his beam, doing reduced damage but blinding the target on a 4 (1d4+1/2SYN). Does not blind targets without eyes.
Focus Beam:LVL:1 August focuses for a moment, causing the SYN to be doubled for the next eye beam.

Inventory:
One enchanted notepad and pen: This allows August to write without needing to restock on paper and ink.
Enchanted gloves that reduce the sensitivity of his hands.
Eye drops.

Alright, I've buffed both of my perks. What about my actions, is there anything I should adjust there?
Edit: Change the perk to just let me re-roll spot checks.

Edit: Edited my sheet with updated abilities and a last name. Turns out your basic attack and basic defense abilities DON'T cost AP.
Edit 2: Reworked my abilities and removed my flaw.
