...Didn't the universe get blown up in the previous continuity or something? Tentatively reserving a slot, but yeah.
Also, technically this is RotMG5, but uh, we don't talk about 4.
Name: Sorasa Hibiki/SORASA
Description: A half-Japanese boy, aged 16, whose mother was French. His features lean toward his European heritage, with somewhat pale skin and a head of dark brown hair, kept short except for the back, which he keeps in a ponytail. He is of slightly below average height, with a wiry build that's muscular without being bulky. The only thing that appears supernatural about him is his eyes, which are tinted a bright shade of violet; he usually waves this off as some sort of rare, but harmless, genetic condition. He prefers simple, versatile clothes, dressing in a white t-shirt and jeans, usually with a blue jacket if he can find one. Looking at him with the ability to perceive the supernatural would reveal something decidedly more interesting, however; it would appear that he had two souls, and that they shared a powerful magical aura.
Personality-wise, he's fairly easygoing and somewhat lazy, preferring sleep over getting anything productive done much of the time, though he does simultaneously have a certain thirst for novelty in his life. He's loyal to a fault, though, and won't hesitate to help someone in need. He tends to be somewhat naive and toward holding grudges, however, and isn't the best leader of people.
Backstory: Hibiki's life story up until all of this supernatural chaos business was fairly normal. His father was a traveling businessman who met a foreign woman and eventually this resulted in Hibiki, who lived a normal life until all hell broke loose.
The world has a self-defense mechanism, activated only in emergencies that threaten its very existence. It attempts to summon the spirits of heroes, past and future, to protect itself. However, perhaps due to the sudden grave injuries being dealt to it and its population, something went wrong. The spirit that was supposed to be called to protect France, rather than being summoned in its own body and possessing the armaments it was intended to, was shunted into the nearest appropriate container, shedding much of its power in the process. That container was Hibiki.
The boy made it out of the ruination alone thanks to this odd sort of possession, his parents having perished in the chaos, and drug himself to Camp Cinder. The rest of his story, well, it's yet to be told.
Stats: Are you good at this, bad at that? Well-rounded? Allocate 30 points. Average for a human is 3 each, but you guys aren't average farmers.
Health: 32
MP: 10
STR - 6
DEX - 8
AGIL - 6
INT - 5
WILL - 5
Abilities: Clearly there is something supernatural about you; what is it? Enhanced strength or agility? Pyromancy? Be creative. These are similar to spells in a way, and you have spellpoints equal to your INT to spend. One spell point may be put in an ability to be level one, or you could spend two points to have an ability be level 2, or three for level three. Essentially, a point may be used to give an ability a level. If you have 6 INT, you can have 6 lvl-1 abilities, or say 5 lvl-1 abilities and 1 lvl-2 ability. More on this in the stat section. In addition, everyone gets a free passive ability no matter their INT, whether it be a passive AoE effect or a stat boost or a proc'd effect. These abilities can be passive or casted.
Primal Rune: Strength: Draws a glowing arcane symbol on the target or himself. Boosts the target's next roll by WILL/2.
Primal Rune: Fire: Draws a glowing arcane symbol on the target or in midair. Deals 1d6+WILL fire damage, and an additional 1d6 in melee range.
-SORASA: 50% chance to ignite the target, dealing 2 damage per turn for 1dWILL turns.
Sword of Recompense: (Passive, level 1): Hibiki gains Counter stacks per turn, equal to his current DEX. When he reaches 20, he gains an automatic counterattack against the next opponent to hit him with a melee attack. He also starts each combat with one counterattack prepared. Multiple counterattacks can be built up in this manner, given they aren't used up. Attacks made in this manner take a -5 penalty to damage, unless this would reduce the damage below 1, in which case they deal 1 again.
-SORASA: Counterattacks are preemptive. DEX is considered 2 points higher for the purposes of gaining counterattacks.
Protection From Arrows (Passive, level 1): Hibiki gains a +3 bonus to dodging ranged attacks.
SORASA (Level 1): The spirit inhabiting Hibiki manifests itself, boosting all of Hibiki's abilities. (Bonus is equal to twice the skill level if there is no specific enhancement mentioned.) This has a GM-mandated cooldown, but currently can be done roughly once a week, and for about ten minutes at a time at most, without beginning to harm Hibiki.
Twinned Soul (Passive): Hibiki rolls twice, instead of once, to defend against all mental or anti-magical effects.
Inventory: His clothing and a backpack containing a change of clothes and a couple day's worth of food and water. A long, whittled stick with a survival knife notched into and tied onto the end for a weapon (1d4+DEX damage).
